Unfortunately the cafes have closed and the council are going to pretty much destroy the place due to getting millions to spend on it and are pulling the visitors center and cafes down to rebuild ,yep a new visitors center and cafe plus BMX parks etc etc so it will be closed when they start when ever that is ,you know what councilsare like

Lovely walks and lots to do. The little train is great for kids in the play park and nice friendly staff.Lots of space for picnics though unfortunately the wasps ruined ours.Playground has lots on offer and secure gates right around it.. again lots of wasps (though more so near bins, which are very close to all the seating unfortunately)Would recommend a trip here

Stayed here in our touring caravan for 4 days in May. Not many pitches are level. We were on pitch 26 and it was one of the best. No ramps needed, but some pitches are at a ridiculous angle. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty for the kids to do. It was good but not amazing.Like many sites there is a 'no ball games' rule, which football players ignore. So if you are precious about your caravan and car, this may not be the place for you. I did see the warden walking through once but that was the only staff presence in our 4 days.Like I said, it was good but not amazing.

Again I enjoyed my visit. Everything was great. However the pitches are tight and the road in front is narrow. So when the pitches behind yours is occupied it does take a bit of maneuvering to get on the pitch correctly especially for the larger unit

4 3/4 stars - see belowThis site is part of Carnfunnock Park and as such, has a host of beautiful walks, gardens and outdoor activities. With the Irish Sea approximately 200 metres away, this is a real find if a campsite/ caravan site. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing with a friendly and helpful staff and camp area. The site is set up efficiently and effectively for all camping/caravaning needs and even some wants. The facilities further meet all your needs as you will see from the photographs there is even a bath!Excellent, thoughtful and much appreciated provision of maps, guides and local information boards.I have quite a few years of experience both camping and caravaning and have stayed in a wide range of site regarding facilities. This site rates very highly for me. The only criticism I have is, while the facilities are clean, cleaning of the showers would also benefit from attention to the shower walls - which really only merits a quarter star deduction.I would definitely come again.

Very chilled stay at Carnfunnock caravan park. We stayed for a week and used it as a base to catch up with family it was very busy the day we turned up but from the Monday onwards it was just us and 2 motorhomes so it was very quiet. The only downside was the washing facilities they are good but they could do with a bit of an upgrade and maybe a couple more toilets, I don’t think 2 WC in the gents would be enough when it’s busy. On the whole though I would recommend staying here if you are exploring the Antrim coast.

Terrible experience. We were the only one on the campsite on a night this week and someone tried to open our doors at 1.30 am. We are unsure if it is related but a male walked by our camper at dusk from the forest. We didn’t feel safe following this and had to leave. Management were more than apologetic the next morning when we went back to tell them and said this is the first time this has happened however I would feel unsafe staying here if I was the only camper as there is no warden on site during the night.
