Against my better judgement, I got a small black Americano at Paddington station this morning at about 10.45 and it was dreadful....I took it back and the barista ( who clearly had no idea) made me another ....the same and it cost £3 !If you are going to serve coffee....not flavoured milk then you must have people who know what they are doing and coffee that is consistent.It was muddy water, no crema, no body....and not acceptable for an independent specialist.

Really lovely coffee. I'm addicted to the filter, but they offer interesting coffees and deliciously different pastries. Hot rolls as well. Staff are always friendly and good quick service. It's a warm shop so sitting down at the benches is nice.

Asked for a hot chocolate it want .I would have thought some care for the customers a little interaction and a proper hot , jot chocolate would be easy to make happen the as in pic is a lie

It’s a standard London style coffee bar. Service is a bit lacklustre, as they must be rushed off their feet with the train customers, but that’s really all there is. The coffee is good but shockingly expensive, so it doesn’t really get a higher rating since there’s no value for money either.

Really don’t see a reason for those bad reviews, maybe we got lucky. Nice coffee and really croissants (esp the egg croissant for breakfast). Recommend them as a pit stop before your train

We were on our way to our next destination and would like to grab a cup of coffee quickly. The location of FCB Coffee is perfect, so we did a to-go order of 2 cups of Latte.The staff was friendly and served everything quickly. We got refreshed and satisfied after drinking their decent coffee. However, there was only little room about the maintenance for them to improve since it looked messy on the standing tables by thewindows.

Nice cafe inside Paddington station. It's pretty clean, and the coffee is good. Pastries looked nice, although I didn't try them. Staff was also very friendly. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee to start your journey, that's the place.

Can live with getting ripped off by these train station coffee shops however this one is the worst out of the lot in paddington. The cup design is ridiculous, the service was terrible - told I pushed in when I didn’t ( there was only two people so I’m not sure how she got confused). Likely due to me correcting her I received the coffee which as you can tell from the photo was full to the brim which allowed me to get my hands burned for the next 20 minutes, in the end I just threw it away as it wasn’t worth the pain at 7am. £7 spent for a burnt hand.. avoid .
