This was my first time at Burlington House Hotel and I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Extremely clean, nice spacious room with all amenities, good locations with excellent shops near by.Victor was extremely welcoming at check in stage and offered all help with bus routes and taxi ranks. He was also very attentive during breakfast and the service was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful with delicious warm home made bread. This hotel gets the highest mark for me and is one of the best hotel I have stayed in. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Oxford. Do not hesitate to book, it is well worth it.

What a super hotel for exploring Oxford complete with free parking. On arrival the host kindly welcomed us, offered us a complimentary drink and showed us to our room in the annex. The room was well equipped, finished to a nice standard and we found everything very comfortable and clean. The host gave us several local recommendations to eat at in the evening which was also helpful. Breakfast the following day was super, even serving home made bread. The sausages were also great! Thanks again for a great stay and have already recommended the Burlington House to family if they ever wish to visit Oxford.

Not sure how they can be 5 star hotel. The door of the bathroom is only partially covered... So the person on the bed can look at the person on the toilet. Over the full height. Same for when you get out of the shower. Very uncomfortable and weird. No privacy. The floors are squeeky so if someone above you is walking around you can clearly hear it.Breakfast is nice but only available during the weekend from 8:30. The space is small so people have to wait before others are finished. We wanted to leave earlier so we asked if we can receive something simple earlier. They would check the options and let us know, but never did. Unfortunately the service isn't very flexible, which would be understandable for a simpler hotel, but not for the price they charge and if you call yourself a 5 star hotel. The beds are on the soft side.

All great given choice of two rooms, by the very friendly welcoming host. Breakfast was really good, attentive staff. Very good job done by the breakfast team, considering it is a small dining room. The bed was very comfy and nothing was to much trouble for the host.Parking really easy and bus travel into town was great. Was at the end of the road and used it throughout our stay. Thank you

Cute little cozy cottage that we stayed in. Excellent service from the host. He was an absolute delight. Delicious breakfast included with the stay. Delicious coffee and orange juice. Hope to someday visit again. Room was clean and well cared for.

My wife and I were very impressed with this hotel, it’s charming and the room was absolutely perfect. The room and the bathroom were both impeccable and good sizes, the shower was great. (we were in room 16). There is limited parking but we did get a space. Breakfast was delicious and the service was perfect.

The pictures are deceiving giving the impression of the property being spacious and it’s not. Staff is friendly and there are little treats in the bedroom, but the property is located by a busy road and you need to take buses to the centre of town. There is no country feeling to it, the rooms are very small and VERY noisy since the walls are paper thin (you can hear next room’s tv and noises such as cough / conversation as if it was in the room, and there is no common area for guests. It’s clean and modern, bathroom and bedding is very comfortable and the breakfast is definitely the star of the show. The experience was fine but I wouldn’t go back.

Stayed here for one night for a break in Oxford. Staff were so helpful and welcoming the room was lovely with an excellent shower room and a huge bed. Breakfast was great and tge location was close to a bus stop which took you about 5 minutes into the city centre. We hope to visit again soon to see more of Oxford and will definitely stay at Burlington house again

The manager was really rude , unhelpful and arrogant. No interest in helping or answer any of my questions, it’s not a 5 star hotel and is completely misleading
