Avoids at all cost this company are criminals they are trying to charge me £6000 for a non fault accident courtesy vehicle that the other party admits fault but are unwilling to pay the over the odds price for the vehicle hire. It’s disgraceful how are or government allow these companies to rip people off and not put a stop to them they don’t even explain to you before you take the vehicle how can a vehicle that cost no more than £400 for the time I had it if I purchased the hire my self be allowed for a middle man to charge 1000 of pounds extra for making a phone call they contacted me and arranged everything now they tell me I have to pay them £6000+ for the courtesy van and I also have to pay for the repairs even though it’s a non fault accident I’m not paying a penny they can send me to court but they ain’t getting a single penny of a judge upholds this what a failed society we live in time for change!!!

If I could give no stars I would! Avoid this company at all costs. They work alongside Winn Solicitors owned by the same director. This company is NOT regulated with the financial ombudsman (as was confirmed by the FCA themselves) so are unethical in their practice. After a car accident in 2018 and after contacting my insurers, unknowingly I was put through to Winn Solicitor who then insisted I take out the courtesy/hire vehicle with them to avoid paying excess charges. The 3rd party admitted liability and was told by them (Winn Solicitors) the 3rd party would bear the cost and I would have nothing to worry about. They refused to pay the cost of £19,443 (yes I know, extortionate for a vehicle held for 38 days). The company, On Hire Ltd/Winn Solicitors (I put both names as there are some fraudulent activities going on) proceeded to take me to court, although I was the innocent party and ordered to pay the cost!!! This is corruption at its best!!! The courts have opened a loophole for this company to continue a practice where the consumers are misled. They are unscrupulous in their practice. What makes it worse is that, I had no correspondence with them whatsoever, but yet they had said I signed an agreement to pay the amount of £19,443 for a little over 30 days. Anyone in their right mind would not agree to this - its the cost of an actual vehicle!!!

very professional and courteous. Received my hire car on the day I was booked in for repairs with no issues. Was concerned initially looking at some reviews about costs etc however read my agreements fully & followed the t&c's no costs coming back to me or ever mentioned to come back to me! Would use On Hire & Winns again if I was ever unfortunate enough to be in another accident.

Stay away!!!! Took my car to a bogus repair shop which didn’t fix my car properly and is now a death trap and now they are saying the faults are not accident related even though it happened in the collision side and none of these problems was there before the crash and told me my car was finished and roadworthy when I went to collect car , there was engine management light on the dash and also the door catches to the wing an a few other faults , stay far away from this company they don’t listen to instructions and now been left with a broken car and been left no choice but to take this company to court !!

Avoid this company they are rip offs and need to be investigated. I've noticed that other reviews pointing out their unethical conduct have been swiftly removed. Be warned.

Very poor service. Not helpful at all in case of any issues. Took my car to a garage who haven’t done work properly. Very poor work done. And “on hire” is not not helpful at all. So ask your insurance or solicitors before hand and if name is “on hire” refuse to go with them. Stay away from them

The absolute most useless people I have ever had to deal with in business in my life. Have made a formal complaint as well as speaking to numerous people. This company has to be avoided at all costs. If one person reads this and decides not to use them it's one person has been helped.They promise you the world to start with then are totally uninterested once you call them with a problem. Stay clear.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Regarding to previous reviews that I’ve just read , I cancel my claim to this company.The thing that I didn’t like in agreement was a cost of 400 pounds per day for a car hire that they kindly bring to you instead your damaged car!!! They tried to assure me that this payment will be taking from the third part who caused the damage in accident. I’m not very good with local laws, but for me it’s absolutely clear that third party insurance company will decline this payment due to inappropriate costs for car hire . And lately this is what I found on reviews from other people , that they been asked to pay this enormous cost for car hire as third party obviously declined this claim.I asked to delete car hire part from agreement but they tried to insist , and in the end I received the same agreement .It looks clearly like it’s a scam where few different companies are involved. But the most horrible fact that my insurance company Marshmallow provides only one way to resolve a problem with non-fault claim through these scammers. So I came to an idea that they are working all together.
