Purchased a Willerby Portland holiday lodge 2019 which has an ilfitting balcony sliding door, has holes under the frame that allows a bad draught under the carpet. Willerby seem to be uninterested in wanting to fix the issue despite being in warranty.

I have had 5 different willerby vans, including the sherbourn aspen and I now have the Sheraton. I am still waiting for the French doors to be fitted properly as I can see day light through the frame, been waiting nearly 2 month's. I had a brockenhurst last year and the white goods inside both vans are a disgrace. I had to have a new microwave and fridge freezer in the Brockenhurst with in about a month of buying it, all my vans have been brand new by the way. The Sheraton I bought just a few months ago and has had to have a new fridge freezer, the cooker us the worse cooker ever, I have had an engineer look at it and his answer is that's as good as it will ever be. I have loved Willerby vans and I have always recommended them. I will not anymore. The Sheraton cost nearly 70 grand! The actual van and furnishings are just what I expect from Willerby second to none. But the white goods are a disgrace. Focal point fridge/freezer and microwave. Oh also while I am at it the curtain poles! The deep scratches just from drawing the curtains ( what's that all about. Come on Willerby get rid of your white goods supplier's and get someone decent. Also get the after sales sorted. I have up till now always classed you as 5 star! I am at this point of looking for a decent LPG cooker to have in my Brand New Sheraton and that should not have to happen! Shame on you. Don't think I will consider Willerby on my next purchase.Update doors have been sorted as far a seeing daylight, unfortunately they won't latch because they were fitted with the wrong side receiver! I have sent email to willerby about the white goods but still no Reply!Update on the update, still waiting for the latch to be fitted on patio doors! Also cooker is still rubbish! In fairness though I have just seen the new Avonmore, it does look amazing, and a very good price!

Purchased a 2 bedroom Willerby Manor Caravan in early September 2020 and to say it was and still is UNFIT for purpose is an understatement to say the least! We had and still have a snagging list as Willerby call it, which included......1. Boiler leak2. Patio Doors, 1 side will not open and the whole thing will not lock therefore it was secured by electrical tie-wraps until we purchased a crocodile lock to make it secure.3. Cooked hob gas cover missing, therefore hob unusable due to no issue of gas certificate.4. Main bedroom mattress had holes in it5. Dining room table damaged6. Master bedroom window seal not fitted correctly7. Side door needed realigning as it had a gap at the top8. Outside bodywork dintOther issues included most cupboards needed realigning, mirror fitted off centre, curtain poles fitted at an angle.Seymours Parks the distributor rectified majority of issues which left the patio doors and the window seal outstanding but these will have to be done by Willerby themselves.Willerby have been out to see the caravan twice and on both occasions have been unable to do anything but say they will need to order parts etc , we are now on 164 days ( over 5 months) later and still the parts are on order and we have yet to find out when this will be sorted. As you can see quality control seems sadly lacking at Willerby and customer service is none existent as they will not correspond with us as buyers they only reply to the distributors.Although we like the layout and design of the caravan we could not recommend Willerby to anyone and would definitely NOT purchase another Willerby as we regret purchasing this caravan.

RE-ADDING MY REVIEW AS IT DISAPPEARED FOLLOWING THEIR REPLY.You can clearly see the approach from Willerby from their response, THEY DON'T CARE!!Faced with a brand new caravan delivered with numerous, shoddy defects and being expected to pay for the caravan in full the following week, why would a customer proceed without any guarantees these would be resolved? They say in their reply they will be dealt with as 'warranty' items, these aren't warranty items, they are bodged items that should not have passed their quality control, they should have been embarrassed by them and committed to resolve them ASAP. As they mention, my contract isn't with them so the distributor attempted to discuss this on my behalf but they were told to log each item individually as per their 'warranty process', but I was clearly advised not to expect some items to be resolved, but why should I have to accept these? Having read numerous reviews on here and comments on the Willerby Facebook group, there were a number of buyers with so many unresolved issues.--------ORIGINAL:We are absolutely gutted. We reserved a brand new Willerby Brookwood that Weir Caravan Park (Stamford Bridge near York) had on order, after waiting 3 months for delivery we viewed it and discovered a number of shoddy defects so provided a list with photos to the park owner. They replied ‘I am concerned that your expectations are beyond what a Holiday Home delivers at this level’ and offered our deposit back!Shocked by the response from the park, we made attempts to discuss our situation with Willerby who refused to discuss anything with me. I then sent an email to the Willerby CEO, Operations Director and Commercial Director, but appallingly no reply.I then called the distributor Bridlington Caravans who were very helpful and hoped to discuss the matter with Willerby on my behalf, but Willerby refused and insisted each defect is logged individually, as per their process. This was a customer at the point of walking away (or being pushed away by the park) but they did not care. The correct response from Willerby would be to apologise that these issues had passed their quality control and a commitment to put them right both quickly and to a good standard, I was obviously asking for too much…After a few days there were no responses from Willerby on the individually logged defects, just the opinion of Bridlington Caravans who said some defects will be refused such as the ripped/scratched Lino and dents to the front of the caravan. Why should I have to accept this? We were then passed back to deal with the park. To be faced with having to pay the full balance of the caravan, we had no confidence that defects would be resolved, resolved quickly or to a good standard, especially given the response from the park and complete lack of response from Willerby.Whilst we fully appreciate there would be some defects such as door and cupboard alignments, it is disgusting that we had to find some of these shoddy defects had passed their quality control. The worst has to be the stuck on paper repair in the shower room. I can’t imagine how many functional issues there would be when you start to use the caravan if this is the standard they are working to. Clearly Willerby’s focus is to churn these out at speed to meet demand with no focus on quality. We disappointingly requested our deposit back. After waiting 3 months for delivery, buying every single item for it and planning our summer around it along with family and friends visits.

I have a Willerby Sheraton caravan which I purchased just over 3 years ago. I still like the design & layout of the caravan. The area were Willerby let’s it’s self down are these:Door handles on side & decking doors fitted with white handles. The white paint on the handles had flaked off after one year. The door handles were not fit for purpose. The paint flaking has occurred on 3 Willerby Sheraton caravans on my site. Unfortunately paint flaked after the one year warranty ran out. We have all had to buy replacement quality/coastal handles to replace the above (£30 per pair, total £60).Fridge freezer packed in after 2 years. Had to be replaced with a new one.Electric plug sockets. Brushed stainless steel effect fitted in lounge/kitchen/dining room area. Cheaper looking white sockets fitted in all bedrooms & shower rooms.Jointing strips on wallpaper through out the caravan becoming unstuck slightly which one can see.Plastic architrave fitted poorly and shows signs of becoming detached (poor workmanship).Shower control valves - 2 different types/makes fitted. One valve looks to be of a better quality than the other. Have to say both still work fine.Willerby need to improve quality on all above points.

Have always thought Willerby a highly reputable company and been impressed with caravans/lodges we have seen at numerous shows visited. So much so that this year after only 4 years of owning a 2014 Atlas Image we were persuaded to upgrade and took delivery of a 2019 Willerby Sheraton Elite Lodge. This was delivered and sited on 20 March. However, our Lodge was damaged in transit, with the front apex facia being virtually ripped off.We are now 2 months on and nothing has been done to repair it. and the reason why is that no one is prepared to take responsibility for it, so we the customers having payed out 60k for our unit, are left in limbo. The manufacturer, transport company and dealership (Salop Leisure), are it seems all denying any knowledge, and we are disgusted that none of them are putting their customers first, sorting out the problem and arguing about blame later. Poor customer service on all sides. But on top of this, our boiler has already had a problem, our side door doesnt close unless it is locked and there is a gap between it and frame, and front french doors wont open! The headboard is hanging off the wall in the second bedroom, a stain on the arm of the sofa and the finish of some of the veneer surfaces is very poor. Not what we would expect in a 60k unit and certainly not we expected from Willerby. Willerby have been made aware of the problems but now we just wonder how long we will have to wait till everything is put right. Our dream of owning a Willerby Holiday Home is shattered. We wish we had stayed with our Atlas Image.

I purchased a Willerby Hampshire lodge in May 2015 at a cost of well over a £100,000/- . 6 months ago the laminated kitchen, wardrobe doors and drawers started to de-laminate. We reported the problem to the site management who reported the problem to Willerby.4 months later the fitter arrived with the replacement door and facia. Since then we have had another 11 doors and drawers in various locations throughout the lodge de-laminating. This was duly reported. I have just heard from the site management that Willerby will not be replacing any of the faulted items, as the part of the 5 year warranty which covers such items has now expired. After some research it appears that this is a common problem with Willerby caravans and lodges. It would be my recommendation to stay well clear of Willerby products and spent your hard earned money elsewhere. Wish I could give it no stars.

Caravan quality absolutely awful as is the after sales customer care. £50K caravan ... Leaks above the windows and the main door, crushed poorly installed aerial cables, fridge / freezer hanging on its hinges (several experimental holes drilled in fridge body to find right place - which they didn’t) internal doors 3 of them have delaminated .... all replaced and now the same again. Would I buy another Willerby ... Not at all likely.
