Have had my dogs registered here for 12 years. Luckily they have been reasonably healthy. Today my boy had to go and saw a calm, informative and compassionate vet who could not have been kinder. The reception staff were understanding and caring. Would recommend to anyone, I have always had good care for my dogs from the staff here.

Worse veterinary practice I’ve been to. Wish I could give 0 stars. I took my dog in and the vet I saw was lovely. He told me if I needed anything to call and talk to him and he’ll sort it. I called back as the place my dog had her operation wanted to see her history and what the vet said at the appointment. The receptionist refused to send it as she said I can’t be registered at 2 vets. I later found out there is no such rule. I used this Vet as I was staying in the area and my dog was in pain I didn’t want to have to drive her all the way home in that condition to my usual vets. The vet was very understanding and said I did the right thing. But Pauline who I spoke to had a disgusting attitude. She refused to help my dog get further help. When I explained to the place my dog had her surgery what has happened they were disgusted that this vets has clearly put money before the well-being of an animal. I’d recommend taking your pets to a vets with reception staff who care about your pet. Thankfully I told the family I’m staying with as they said they will never return to this vets either now.

Fantastic Vets. Came highly recommended, and we cannot praise them enough. Always at the end of the phone, and we’re given confidence that suitable out of hours arrangements are in place.A genuine thanks to Richard, Steve, Cara and the team from us for the stellar service.

My mum just took her dog to have his ear checked out and was charged £50 for the consultation (with heathy pet club discount)!! She was in there 10mins. And £28 for ear cleaner. I’m so shocked. Think we need to move vets.

Great vets!! I use Knox & Devlin for my two dogs who recently needed some teeth removing. The vet was thorough and explained everything that was going to happen during their care and called me with updates throughout the day. Lovely caring practice!!

I went to Whaley Bridge vets, having been before but well over a decade ago. Last time I went it was great, the staff obviously very much cared primarily about helping animals rather than being profit driven, so it was much cheaper than a lot of vets. This time? My dog had an irritated eye, she went in for 3 minutes and came out with human" eye wash drops that you could buy over the counter for £5

Our dog required post-operative follow up as he had an operation before we headed to the Peak District on holiday. Although we were not clients and don't live in the area, the staff were so accommodating and friendly. They gave us really compassionate and friendly care, our dog was incredibly well looked after and we were so grateful to have such wonderful support as we were worried about his wounds. We can't recommend them highly enough - a lovely, friendly team.

I would highly recommend Knox and Devlin. I have taken my dog here a number of times and always find the reception staff to be friendly, helpful and welcoming, they all clearly love pets. The vets are also very kind and knowledgeable and nothing is to much trouble. My dog is happy to come because they are great with her.
