Purbeck Mobility Centre

We are on holiday and my wife's mobility scooter charger packed up. We rang around and Purbeck mobility centre was the cheapest around, the service we got was fantastic. I would recommend them 100%.

An extremely helpful service. I needed a mobility scooter for my holiday when I phoned they were very friendly making sure all my needs were met. The booking was easy. I opted for the delivery service. when I was on holiday my scooter was delivered promptly. A very kind gentleman showed me how to work the scooter making sure I felt safe and comfortable. I was very happy with the service I received and would not hesitate to use them again. I would definitely recommend them.

My parents visited Sandford recently and forgot to take the charger for my Fathers mobility scooter. They were recommended to call in and see if the owners could help. They lent them a charger for the week, and did not ask for any payment. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely two ladies that helped them out.My parents would highly recommend Purbeck Mobility, and I would like to thank them also.Jan and Tom Rogerson.

What fabulous service today19/8/20Rang from swanage to wareham at approximately 1600 hrs.Spoke to the owner Andy about my partners inability to walk due to a recent foot injury.We had tried to hire in swanage but the hire shop had nothing left to lease.So after a Google maps tour via my phone I found this place.Andy explained that he lives in swanage and would deliver a scooter on his way home!! Saving me a very necessary journey to wareham.By 1800 hrs he had honoured his promise and made our holiday!! Thank you Andy.Regards John Cooper, coventry

We arrived last minute on holiday and we needed a motability scooter. The team were very friendly and helped out immensely. Helped us out lots. Will be back next year when we return. Thank you!

I called on Friday to see if I could hire a manual wheelchair for a week later that day. The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant. I picked it up later the same day. Hire for the week was just £36 which I thought to be very reasonable

What a lovely helpful shop and staff - a panic and urgent purchase of some slippers for an elderly lady in a care home couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We’re so pleased we drove to the shop and got their advice because it saved us from getting the wrong slippers. The service was friendly and amazingly helpful - at such a difficult time this was exactly what needed. Thank you.

I have used this shop when Bob & Sue had it and was always grateful for the amount of times Bob had come to my rescue when my scooter had broken down on me and never charged me a penny.Bob's wife Sue was always helpful and would try and offer things to try, before sending Bob out because he always busy.Unfortunately Bob & Sue retired last month which is a great loss to a lot of disabled people like myself, on the day they retired I had broken down on the way to the hairdressers, so I rang the Mobility Shop Sue answered I explained I had broken down completely after limping there, that was when Sue told me that it was their last day, I was shocked coz that was the first I had heard of this, but also added that a young couple had brought the shop, they were eager to get to know their new customers, and I can say they most definitely are a lovely couple pop in and see them anytime your passing.
