Recently used AJ Garage for a service and MOT and could not fault them. The customer service was amazing - they even dropped me home and picked me up without charge. The staff were really friendly especially the two who gave me lifts (Nathan was one but didn’t catch the other guys name). The attention is detail was brilliant and the car feels smoother to drive. Really competitive price too. Very happy and would recommend.Also I keep finding little touches/freebies like the air freshener, little drawstring pouch for locking nut, keyring with next MOT date on it, brilliant pen … sounds silly but really shows they care what that the customer has a good experience.

this garage they have no manners with costumer service guys I think Newport city council they should review it ,the way they treated with their costumer I have been there once and that was the last,I could run 20 garage like that with the quality service you provide with the-costumer you need to calm down and calm down for god sake ! people give you money you don’t do the service for free if you can’t change your behaviour with costumer closed down its better !.If you get crossed with them guys don’t be surprised !

Andrew and the guys always look after me for bike MOT. best place to go for bike MOT. I travel 45 mins as they're the best.

Had my works van ( M-tech Alloy Wheel Repairs) in for MOT here, excellent company to deal with, staff were great and helpful. Will be using this garage in the future for servicing also from now on...highly recommend

Incredible, 5* service. Staff are always very polite and professional. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and experienced. Anything from a service to a full engine rebuild. The staff here go above and beyond to accommodate you. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Unprofessional, customer service rude and unprofessional. I took car to retest for mot just to check the lights, supposed to take 5 minutes, took 2 hours. I asked if I should book an appointment beforehand, they said no just bring it, and practically delayed the job by hours, ignoring. In the end when they got around to actually doing the job, it literally took 2 minutes which is ridiculous. Hopefully they change their attitude to customers. However the guys doing the MOT were nice and friendly.

Called up Saturday morning to enquire about a motorcycle mot. Was offred a slot for 11.30, Perfect so made my way to collect the bike ready for the mot but ended up running late so had to cancel at short notice. Very understanding and offered a date and time to suit me. Once everything was sorted I gave them a call to bring the date forward. 24hrs later the bikes mot'd I'm on the road and they now have a very happy customer. Highly recommended for bike mot's, servicing & repairs.

Don’t bother, really.I paid for over £3000 to rebuild my engine, after which I still had issues starting it, took it back but to no avail, they just didn’t care.I had to sell for a less than it was worth as I was leaving the UK to travel, they should count themselves lucky that I sold the van to someone who was happy to take it, otherwise I would’ve taken them to small claims.Just go somewhere else, it’s easier.Edit- I can see the garage has responded to my review, for anyone reading, you’re entitled to believe what you want to believe, but is it worth it if I am right? Best use somewhere else.

Took my car in for a service, and considering we'd planned a road trip on the continent, booked it in to have advisories done. Total cost was less then quoted coz the labour was quicker than thought. Brill!Shame they missed the cause of the rattle I had asked them to check on both occasions - which they immediately fixed, free of charge, when informed it was still rattling.Five stars for friendly and accommodating service and free fix, overall 4 stars for missing the problem twice. Just ever so slightly wonder whether they'd looked harder if I'd been a male.... and maybe it would've helped too if they'd done a test drive around the yard?
