Short version; I cracked a titanium frame, they repaired it, I am incredibly happy with the experience. Long version, if you can be arsed, below...I recently found a crack and a couple suspect looking marks in welds on my titanium mountain bike frame. My options appeared to be;-sell the frame spares / repairs and make it someone elses project-send it away to a frame builder / repairer of which there are not many in the UK doing titanium; just the insured courier there and back would have likely cost circa £40 plus before the £50+ for the work at a guess-dig around the internet for a local firm that were set up for titaniumJNC met the brief and are a short distance from where I live. Their website looked somewhat dated and they had very little on facebook so I gave them a call, spoke to one of the brothers and planned to swing by. I had took the view that a lack of online presence was not an issue as they probably spent their time doing the sticky metal rather than telling the world how good they are.I took my complete bike in for Chris to look at and he was confident of doing a repair. I asked him for a rough price and ,while I won't disclose it, for context he quoted an hourly rate that was less than you would pay at a local garage, a lot less in the case of some. He said it would probably take an hour but if it was more it would go up proportionally. He mentioned I would need to strip the whole bike as he would be filling it with argon (back purging); I was even more confident in him doing a proper job.I took it away, returning the frame to JNC having marked where I thought there were potentially two more cracks, Chris said he would dye test the suspect areas and only weld them if necessary, it was necessary and I had my frame back within a couple days.The welds are very tidy and although they are visually different from the originals, as I expected, I have nothing but praise for their work.Whilst chewing the fat with Chris and Nick I was told about some work they had done for a successful BMX component designer and at one time manufacturer in Sheffield; no names were mentioned but they were clearly proud of what they had achieved with him. As I say, there were no names but I was told what component the chaps success has sprung from and I was able to work out who he was...he mentions the welders, again not by name, in a video interview on a BMX website saying they were great to deal with!I genuinely could not be happier with the outcome of this and will definitely be using them in the future for other jobs now that I have found them.

These guys are exceptional in every way, so much so that I've bothered to put a review online which is something I've never done before! I had a crack on my titanium bike frame, I dropped it off the same day I called them and then had it back in a couple of days. The price and workmanship was incredible but they were also two of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet; genuine and trustworthy. I can't fault any part of my experience with them, I can't recommend them enough!

I like this company. Great family business with work ranging from fine precision medical equipment welding through to someone popping in off the street with a bracket or something. They are friendly, interested, enthusiastic and courteous. I cannot fault them, I wholeheartedly recommend them for any jobbing or batch production.
