Simple Send-offs

My fathers funeral was far from a ‘simple send off’, Liz made the whole process feel so personal and intimate. Whilst my father made the decision for no ‘traditional service’ before he passed, Liz took the time to understand what we needed as a family to bring some closure. Could not recommend them enough, it was as perfect as it could have been for us as a family whilst respecting my fathers wishes. Thank you!

On behalf of myself and my family I would like to send heart felt thanks to Liz & Tom at Simple Sendoffs.My mother passed away earlier this year. I was then faced with the role of organising her funeral arrangements. We had no one in mind and as you can imagine it was a very stressful & emotional time for us all … things were still very raw and I was finding it quite overwhelming.I spoke with both Tom & Liz on the telephone. I think one of those calls was “ out of hours” Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very supportive and reassuring.I did have my apprehensions about choosing a low cost funeral - mainly due to stigma or perhaps thinking I wasn’t giving mum a “proper funeral” However I can assure you that the funeral service Mum had was beautiful. It was literally Taylor made for her, from choosing her favourite songs, readings etc… Liz & Tom supported me every step of the way with any queries I had. The whole day was an absolute credit to them & their team it was flawless. They really did my Mum & our family proud & I have had compliments from friends & family about what a lovely service it was.The only difference was the final price of the funeral which in comparison to other local funeral directors was thousands of pounds cheaper and to be truthfully honest it was far better value for money and I can’t recommend simple send offs enough.Thank you ❤️

Simple Send Offs from start to finish were absolutely fantastic. Liz and Tom couldn’t do enough for us, always on hand and extremely respectful throughout. They made my dad John very proud. My mum said she will be taking another funeral plan out for herself in the foreseeable. I highly recommend Simple Send Offs. Brilliant service.

I would recommend Simple Send-Offs to anyone. I chose them because of their ethical approach. They provided everything any other funeral director provides, just without the expensive ‘shop front’. They are committed to keeping costs as low as possible for their clients, but there is no compromise on professionalism or quality. Tom and Liz were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. My father passed away on the 15th of July and I had never organised a funeral before. I rang this company and a lady called liz and a man called Tom who run the company where so helpful and understanding. They did everything they could do provide me and my family a good send off for my father. They had my did in there care for 2 weeks and kept him in great condition. On the day of funeral they provided us with an amazing service. I have now received the ashes from them of my dad and they gave me them in a lovely scattertube they helped me organise the whole funeral and gave me many ideas to consider I cant thank them enough.Jack gibbs

On behalf of my family I would personally like to thank Tom and Liz for providing a loving and caring send off recently for my late dad. They offer a fully professional service whilst offering empathy and understanding a bereavement brings to a family in deep mourning. It just shows that it doesn’t have to cost the earth to provide what we all need under these circumstances. From the minute we first met Tom and Liz we felt at ease that we had chosen the right people to give my dad the send off he would have wanted for himself. We could not have had anything any more fitting from other funeral directors in the area but we might have paid three times the price. When my Dad passed away in July I was shocked and unfortunately was faced with a money problem. I was able to get in touch with Simple Sendoffs and from start to finish they were brilliant. Sue gives a lot of thought and effort to make a funeral the best it can be. From the moment we picked up the phone and called Simple Sendoff's we've had a truly wonderful service.Even though Simple Sendoffs don't cost huge amounts of money as other funeral homes it doesn't matter because you get such brilliant service and you forget about the others. Liz and Tom provide a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble for Liz. Liz is a kind and patient and wonderful lady who was there for me every step of the way. She mainly spoke with my husband over the phone because I was crying a lot, but she always spoke clearly and set out everything in a simple and easy way to understand. There were no hidden costs either. The service they offer is second to none. The whole funeral was treated with dignity and respect. Every effort was made to accommodate our requests for music and the service. If I ever need to use a funeral company again I will use Simple Sendoffs as they were absolutely brilliant with me and my family. Huge thank you to Liz and Tom. They were brilliant the whole way through.
