Landed there on May 1st 2012 coming from Belgium for a refueling stop in a R44 on our way to Saint Andrews. Very helpful people, so typical of the small landing fields. They found us the telephone number for Kingsby, (private strip 15 km south of Saint Andrews), and introduced us to Sky Demon." They printed us out what they thought would be the best route from Bagby to Kingsby including the frequencies we'd need using the Sky Demon online software. After a bacon roll

Nice little airfield, quiet but pleasant. Only went to do some aircraft spotting, but phoned in advance to make sure it was ok.Great reception from the staff, will definitely be back there again

A secret Gem of a place, with the most lovely of people. Hope when the new clubhouse arrives, that the charm of the place remains. A great airfield to visit.

Visited on motorcycle to have logbook signed, very friendly and interesting mix of people and aircraft large and small. Coffee good, fridge with sandwiches available, happy hour spent.

I visited with a friend during the Bagby Fly in weekend. Great little airfield with excellent technical facilities. You can grab a hot or soft drink and some snacks but I don't think you could expect a meal there without prior arrangement. The home team were very friendly and helpful. A revisit by air is on the cards!For pilots planning a visit - fuel is available, I saw AVGas and JetA1. Please ensure you check the arrangements for visiting aircraft before your visit!
