I am writing this months too late but I think it is important sharing my experience. Although I managed to get an important jumper of mine repaired, for a fair price to a standard I was happy with, getting it back was the stressful part. I went to the store a few times to collect it, 2-3 times I think, however I was told each time that they couldn't find it and/or that they would call me be by a specific date claiming they would look for it. The calls never came and I found myself calling them - bearing in mind I had waited fair lengths of time despite missed dates. Eventually, when I was dealing with someone else at the counter, a good effort was made by everyone in the store to find it and I managed to get it back.Like I said, overall I am happy with the end result as they did a good job repairing it, however the process could have been much easier. Moving forward, it would be nice to have dates set and agreed on, but most important respected.

Absolutely unreliable. Went in several times (always left a lot of time between the day they told me the item would be ready and the time I actually went in) and was always told to come back in a few days. I'd much rather be told a realistic date for collection (even if it's further away) than being told it will only take three days, only to then be closer to three months. Would not recommend.

I’ve used them a lot for alterations on vintage suits. They can be brilliant but they can miss things occasionally and need reminding eg braces buttons. I’ve had an instance where one sleeve was shortened and another not. However, over the years I’ve taken many items here, including trusting them with my wedding suit, would recommend them, and would go again. They make shirts which a friend was extremely pleased with.

I think he always does a really good job. He is a tailor and knows what he is doing. For easy stuff like shortening trousers i will go to a dry cleaners though. They will.also.do.the job and be a lot cheaper. But to shorten shirt sleeves for example i woukd rather go hereShirt sleeves 15 poundsTrousers shorter 15 pounds

Having used them in the past for minor repairs, i asked the owner if he could make me a bespoke suit for my Daughters wedding which was on the 19th of Sept 2020 we agreed a price of £1000 for a suit to include 2 pairs of trousers and was assured it would fit me like a glove ??. So six weeks before the wedding i had to be measured up, i went back 2 weeks later for a first fitting only the jacket tho' it was to big and baggy ,and had the wrong color lining i left it to be taken in and altered i went back again for another fitting this time the buttons were not right and was then informed that he did not have enough material to make the second pair of trousers so after going back for the 3rd time to collect the finished suit the trousers were ok but the jacket was not right , this was now 3 days before my daughters wedding in Scotland i was so angry and disappointed with the guy telling me it looked fine on me and having paid over £500 up front my wife said the jacket looked like i slept in it for a week ??? that i took it to another taylor to try and rectify the shoddy workmanship he said the jacket was a disgrace and should be put in the bin?? he wouldn't touch it even the shoulder pads were not stitched and one arm was 1/4 inch shorter than the other . I had to go to M&S and buy a new off the peg suit for £350. I can't even bring myself to speak to this guy he let me down on one of the most important days of my lifeDO NOT USE this shop

We were absolutely thrilled with the attention to detail and enthusiasm of Erika. I had a rush job and many questions and concerns, but she brought me confidence with her expertise. The finished altered dress is absolutely perfect, I couldn’t be happier!

Unfortunately of the five items I dropped off to do work three were not done satisfactorily, and all the items smelled of cigarette smoke. I lost confidence in any further work, took my clothes and left. For my family this is 2 out of 2 fails with this place and I won't go there again. I will seek a refund.

Just went to get my trousers repaired (hem broke at work). I didn't have cash, and the guy at the desk said no worries I'll repair them now, come back later to pay. Nice to see a bit of trust! Thanks!

All round professional for all types of tailoring - for over 15 years.new trousers/altering/slimmimg/hemming you name it yjey got it done!thumbs up
