This was a great experience. We haven't really done afternoon tea before and really enjoyed it. We got afternoon tea for two and we were both pretty stuffed afterwards. I really like being able to change and try different tea (cloud watcher was so good, great recommendation from our server). The sandwiches were really tasty and a nice combo of flavors. The little scones were delicious. The small desserts were adorable, sweet and lovely. Presentation was gorgeous and the place itself was beautiful. Hospitality was great.I thought the experience was well worth it. Price was reasonable and their store next door sold many of the teas to take home.

A beautiful reconstruction of the tea room, but gone is the golden age…One of the most beautiful cup of hot chocolate I’ve seen. Beautiful latte art, airy, not too sweet, warming up my stomach and soul.Chicken liver pate is beautifully silky. Blue cheese has a nice strong kick.Sandwiches look a little like the catering pack at our faculty’s meetings, but the warm sun dried tomato quiche is lovely.Nice little warm scones. The desserts are far too sweet for me, unfortunately.Love the idea of offering takeaway boxes. Proud of cutting food waste :) no matter how fancy the place is. The option to change and try different tea blends is great. Some suggestion: Would appreciate if the flowers are fresh ones instead of plastic— That was part of Ms.Cranston’s passion, wasn’t it?The service is really friendly and warm (Thank you Megan for the stories!). The background music is low key and enjoyable. And the room, of course, is fabulous.Would recommend for the rare exclusive experience, available only on Thursdays and Fridays.

Lovely atmosphere, excellent service with friendly staff. Great food, curried mince - just like Mum used to make, delicious. Good choice of desserts.

You could not find a better place for excellent service, food, and ambience.High tea is plentiful, and everything is freshly prepared. I loved their tea menu, really takes you to a different time when high tea in Miss Cranstones was an eventOur waitress Zara was lovely, uniform perfect, and she was so helpful and she looked like she was enjoying working here. The shop staff Yvonne and Heather could not have been any nicer, they really took time to spend time with you.We went into the exhibition which was extremely informative and there are interaction activities as well as dress up clothing from the era.The detail and exhibits on display are extremely interesting, even the carpet has something special ,I won't tell you cause it will spoil it.I am so glad this venue was not made into a phone shop, well done to all involved

For those with a love of all things Mackintosh the tea rooms are a real treat. Both the downstairs and the mezzanine level feature stunning elements, including original Mackintosh-designed lights, chairs, tables, and decoration.Even if you don’t know much about Mackintosh, anyone who appreciates art will love the spectacular feel of the place. I felt like I wanted to photograph everything! We had a light dinner and a pot of tea for two, which was well presented and tasted good. The staff were all very courteous and pleasant.

The tour guide at the Kelvingrove mentioned that this tea room had been restored, so we wanted to see it for ourselves. This place is so beautiful, and it's clear how much care was put into the restoration. The tea was superb, and the food was delicious. I can't recommend it highly enough.
