We did not stay the night so cannot review the rooms but we stopped for an impromptu lunch. I must say the food was absolutely first rate and service from all the staff was very friendly and efficient. The baked haddock mornay was one of the best dishes I've eaten in Scotland and the vegetarian miso baked aubergine was equally tasty and beautifully cooked. 10/10 to the management, you clearly have an excellent formula here with great cooking and service.

I stayed here about a year ago and can't forget this place. It was an amazing experience. Everyone was so, so friendly and went out of their way to be hospitable. Really a different experience.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Islay. I wasn't sure what to expect but this place was great! We are a family of 4 and the Autumn room has a queen bed and 2 singles which was perfect. They were able to accommodate our very late check in without a problem and the breakfast the following morning was delicious. Highly recommend!

Our tour bus driver collapsed while we were stopped at the church across the street. We had to wait 3 hours for another driver. The people at the Kilmartin Hotel were wonderful. Besides calling for an ambulance, they took in our group and provided delicious meals from the kitchen. Fantastic hospitality.

Externally looks a little shabby, needing some care, but staff are friendly and ready to help any way they can. Food is good and quite reasonably priced. Rooms are clean, spacious and warm. Also good value. Parking is across the road, but it's not busy. Great view down the valley.

Came for bar meal. Good regular menu enhanced by interesting blackboard of specials. Food lived up to anticipation. Staff great. Can be very busy unsurprisingly.

We didn’t stay here but were recommended the pub restaurant for dinner. The compact bar space extends for a considerable distance and opens into a spacious and cosy dining room with table service. We were then treated to lovely pub grub which arrived fairly quickly (which sometimes can be an issue with country pubs). Would certainly recommend to anyone overnighting in the area.

We had dinner on a Friday night (we're glad we booked - it was busy!) and enjoyed really good food, service and atmosphere thanks to the fact the pub was fully booked. The music was great too. A charming 'proper' country village pub. Good prices too.

Clean and comfortable basic accommodation. Richard made us a fantastic packed lunch as we were leaving to catch the ferry early. Amazing setting with prehistoric features in easy walking distance.
