JB Ptnrs have been fixing and changing sizes of rings for me for a few years now. I'm so glad I found them. They are always really helpful, no fuss, no big egos, just straight down to the job. They've fitted safety catches on bracelets and replaced lost diamonds too. They made my new diamond set wedding band and I was absolutely delighted with it. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

I recently had my partner's wedding rings resized at here and had a fantastic experience. The staff are absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful, and they never tried to rush or push us into making a decision.They provided great advice and guidance on the resizing process and the result was amazing. Gents wedding ring resized: Picked up my resized wedding ring yesterday. What an amazing job James Brown Partners did on this difficult task. Ring is 18ct yellow gold with with a slim 18ct white" gold band encompassing the centre of the ring. This white gold/yellow gold feature means it was very tricky to make the ring size bigger (Went from size R to size T

I have always been extremely happy with the service received from James Brown in the past. Have used this workshop for about 10 years for getting pieces made to repairs.However, this last experience has been extremely disappointing.Firstly, I was quoted £65 to shorten a chain...when I emailed and questioned the price, I was told it was a mistake and should have been £20! Awful big mistake!Secondly, I was to be phoned with a quote, and this happened and I was told £120 but then in the shop I was told it was £130!! Again, I questioned it and was told it was another mistake!Thirdly, I had a chain needing a new catch and the one that has been fitted is so difficult to open that I am unable to wear my chain.Unsure if the price discrepancies are genuine mistakes....will not return here after this awful experience.

I was recently given a passed down family necklace which was needing repaired being how old as it was. The staff at James Brown were excellent, incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my entire experience. Everywhere else I went, I was told that they would need to send the necklace away for around 2 weeks which I was uncomfortable in doing. The staff helped me from the moment I stepped through the door and had the necklace fixed within the time I was there. I would happily return and recommend them to everyone.
