Very relaxing remote getaway, tucked away in the countryside. We appreciated the peace and quiet as much as the lovely facilities. It was perfect for four adults (plus a pup) and we weren't wanting for anything. Highly recommended!

A lovely, relaxing idyl tucked away in the beautiful countryside.Our host Emily was so friendly and welcoming and the facilities were excellent. We spent a couple of hours having massages, using the excellent sauna and enjoying the peace and quiet. We came away feeling unbelievably calm and relaxed. We'd definitely love to come back.

We booked our honeymoon for one week at Hayloft Cottage and from the moment we arrived realised we'd made a great decision. The location is exquisite and just right for numerous walking trails. The cottage is so relaxing, has everything you need with exceptional interior and exterior design - that perfect balance between luxury and function. Spot on! The spa is unique - what a view to accompany our treatments! Emily and team were incredibly attentive and helpful and nothing was too much of an ask. Thank you Adrian, Stefane, Emily for making our honeymoon a sublime getaway!

I spent the weekend at Upper House with my friends and hands down it was one of the most special weekends I have had. Emily, who took care of us went above and beyond before and during our stay to ensure everything was perfect.The food was truly delicious and aplenty! The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully designed. The location and views are breath-taking. Emily arranged for therapists to come to the house for massages, which were also lovely. I can not praise this place and the staff enough, it is an absolute gem.Thank you so much for such a lovely weekend.

Had a great winter break weekend in the Hayloft barn. The barn itself was designed in a way that was stylish and comfortable with all the essentials- including a really comfy bed. The use of the spa was an added benefit.The location itself is perfect for walking (especially if you take a dog) as there is plenty to explore. Or there are villages and towns to visit if you prefer a drive.We would highly recommend the cream tea- so nice at the end of the day by a fire!The hosts are great too- very welcoming and they make sure your stay is enjoyable!Highly recommended!

A fantastic venue for a weekend or week away. Cottages are well furnished and clean, and then you have the added treat of the spa! Beautiful walks and a starry lit sky. Romantic and fascinating all rolled into one. We will be back!

Stayed at Starlight Cottage for a week. Beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views over the surrounding countryside and sheep providing the accompanying soundtrack. We were there for the Hay Festival which is about 30 minutes away down some challenging single track roads.The property is nicely furnished and well-equipped - ideal for a couple, and Tim & Jill are very welcoming hosts. The sauna/spa is a very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. Decent wifi and an EV charging point were very welcome as what are becoming ‘modern essentials’.A very relaxing place off the beaten track to spend a few days.

We had a very pleasant week in Hayloft cottage which was just perfect for the two of us.There were several interesting walks and the scenery is breath taking. On a clear night the starlit sky is amazing ! Adriaan and Emily were very welcoming and helpful .Sunday lunch at The White Haywood farm was a real treat with fresh home cooked local produce .We would highly recommend this wonderful place for a quiet retreat to relax and unwind .Thank you Adriaan and EmilySally and Michael

We had a fantastic stay at Long Barn. What a beautiful part of the world to explore and an equally gorgeous home to relax in. We were really well looked after from start to finish. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Emily who showed us around and made us feel very welcomed. She even made an outdoor fire with the kids and toasted marshmallows with them, which they loved. Emily also recommended places to go, where to eat and shared some local info, which was great. The walks from the house are sublime (the walk up the mountain especially). We were so lucky with the weather too. We would love to return soon!! Thanks for a brilliant end to the summer.
