Food is great, would highly recommend the meal for 2! The young lad behind the counter was fantastic, long wait times but managed to get my food sorted a lot sooner and customer service was impeccable!

After being recommended we discussed to try the food. We Ordered a takeaway. The dhall had no flavours at all though we ordered tarkka dhall. Bland tasteless.The jalfrezi we ordered didn’t have salt. Seems like they forgotten to add salt to the food. Portion was reasonable. Peshwari was really nice unfortunately rest of the food was a let down. May be rushed as we didn’t place a late evening.

Totally the best takeaway in Caversham / Reading.Consistently good.Great service also.Very reasonable prices.Highly recommended.I’ve been coming here 20 years plus. Won’t go elsewhere.

I ordered a family meal and it took.over 2 hours to arrive. I called twice and was told on both occasions the delivery driver was round the corner and would be with us in 2 minutes but waited another 30 minutes. Our food was labeled correctly but the contents was wrong. E.g the lamb rogan we ordered was chicken. The food quality was also poor. Very unhappy. No apology and therefore won't be a returning customer.

We have ordered many times from Qumin and never had any issues with the quality of the food. However, tonight (Saturday) we had a terrible experience; not only due to the appalling quality of the food but also the response of Qumin when we reported the issue to them.We ordered a prawn curry for our daughter. The prawns" were not prawns at all; they were very tiny (less than 10mm in size) shrimps. If there is a classification for anything tinier than a shrimp

If I could give 0 stars, I would.The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered tandoori chicken, which was good, alongside garlic naan and butter chicken (we said balti chicken on the phone but ended up getting butter chicken). The butter chicken was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! IT IS LIKE THEY ADDED 100 GRAMS OF SUGAR TO THE CURRY AFTER MAKING IT. I could not eat the curry as a result of the sweetness and had to throw it away. Service was appalling too. We called them over the phone to ask for a refund or for a replacement balti chicken curry without the sugar. They refused to do so.WORST TAKEAWAY EXPERIENCE EVER AND THE WORST TAKEAWAY SHOP IN READING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Best Indian food in the area, in fact anywhere i have been so far, and I've been around......lovely curries but be aware they are hot, the madras is approx. as hot as anyone else's vindaloo, and absolutely lovely, regular customer, still enjoying the great food, not enough stars available, so 5 it is, Thank you.
