Chillenden Windmill
Lovely little spectacle in the middle of rural Kent. Very friendly hosts gave us a tour and explained everything we asked. Do stop by if you are in the area in opening times. There is a small unmarked car park immediately next to the windmill, no need to stop on the side of the road.

Not too much to see. The sails are missing and the entrance does not entice visitors inUpdate November 2020 ~ the sails are now back on and the windmill stands out well in the countryside; but still cannot visit close up as surrounded by fencing. Windmill is looking good!! ~ thanks to Kent CC

It was not open when we visit but able to have a good look around the outside. It would be worth going back again when it was open to see the inside.

Lovely windmill shame about all the security fence all around it at present. Not sure if its renovation or protection over the winter months.

Very picturesque windmill out in the wilds of the Kent countryside. Unusual open-trestle post construction. Well worth a visit.
