Northumberland shutters & garage doors

Replaced a control box for my not very old garage door which had broken already. Original installer wanted to put some ancient tech in, and charge me like it was an actual antique.Northumberland shutters and garage doors were in later the day I called them, we're able to install a new control box on the spot for a fraction of the price.

Excellent service from start to finish, had been chasing people to do this job (garage door serviced and external manual release fitted) for a few months, and had been let down twice, accepted job straight away, and less than a week later all was done. Very reasonably priced, arrived exactly at arranged time. Job was awkward due to age of brickwork, but just cracked on and completed work. Good demonstration of external release. Would definitely recommend, and will be using to service door in the future

Where do I start? After doing a lot (and I mean a lot!) of research when trying to sort out a new garage door I found Northumberland Shutters & Garage Doors. I’m so glad I did.From first contact, I knew we were going to get top level service. We had a rapid response to my initial enquiry and a site visit was organised within 4 days. Adam turned up bang on time and talked my wife through the various options, measured up and gave us a great quote.Once the door was ready he let us know and booked an install date straight away. Again he arrived on the stroke of 1pm and set straight to work. The door looks fabulous and the quality of the workmanship is excellent. My wife was most impressed by the unrequested removal of a massive spider that was living in our garage. Adam showed my wife how everything works and left the garage clean and tidy. He organised for the old door to be collected too.My 4 year old loves his new “abracadabra door” and ran straight downstairs to show me how it worked. We love it and thank Adam for everything. The only downside is now the garage door looks so good, I’m going to have to get a new front door!!If I could give 6 stars I would but highly recommend this amazing North East company - if you’re wanting a new garage door or shutter, stop looking and drop them a line. You’ll be very glad that you did!Carlsberg don’t do Garage doors but if they did, they still wouldn’t be as good as Northumberland Shutters and Garage Doors!!

Emergency repair was required on my garage door. Adam attended on a Sunday, The fitters turned up on the Tuesday and carried out the repairs in a professional manner, quickly and safelyVery impressed well doneWill definitely use again

Adam was fantastic from start to finish, he diagnosed the problem via a telephone call and some whatsapp pictures. He gave me the fitted price for the new electric garage door motor and 2 days later came and fitted it within the space of 1 hour. A totally professional service that I could thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic, from start to finish. Adam and and his team were very professional. Arrived on time and completed the job to a very high standard. Adam is very conscientious and made sure everything was perfect, taking the time to explain how the doors worked and even made sure the old door was collected and disposed the same day. I would definitely recommend them.

Adam and team fitted 2 replacement garage doors. From initial contact to fitting was 3 weeks, fantastic job and so quick and efficient. The doors are great quality and workmanship is first rate. Thoroughly recommended.
