The fish and chips was fantastic. So fresh and well cooked!

I love fish and chips, and it is something I will try first wherever I go. I’m very happy that this place is in Bristol, where I live. I think this is the best chippy on this country, out of hundreds I’ve tried.The owners and waitress are very friendly, I hear from my friends for the same as well. The price isn’t bad, and fish is never soggy here.One note I wish to leave, is that they don’t open on Sundays and Mondays. This place is just so good that I would wish it to open everyday.I don’t leave that much rating, but for this chippy I will need to give five, or if possible six. I genuinely wish the owners and all the workers there to have prosperous business. The world need to know more about this fantastic place.

A lovely friend place to eat. Food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can eat there or take it away . Recommend you going there .

Bought a fish and chips takeaway. Cost £10. Unfortunately, I found it very greasy. It tasted ok, but the grease was too much. Couldn't fault the staff wonderful.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside on a very small side street behind the Hippodrome, but we have found the fish and chips tasty and of good size. There is a back room seating area that you can’t see from the street where the walls are cover with posters that have been staged at the Hippodrome. Coffee was good too. Pleasant and friendly staff.

The food was ok. Nothing special but I could've given it 3 stars if it wasn't for the service.We went in and asked if there was a table to eat for a group of 6. They said yes and showed us a space at the back of the shop. It's a small room and a bit tight in terms of sitting, but acceptable for a quick grab.We asked if they would take cards and they said yes, so we ordered.When we were eating, they came to ask if we would be happy to pay cash and we said no. They insisted and not wanting to make a big fuss we accepted and I went to a machine to get some.On my return I went straight to pay and there were a few people in front of me who asked to pay card and there was no problem with it. Seriously? What game are you playing?Also with the food, the chips tasted differently than expected. They were well cooked and seemed fresh, but they were not oil fried. We asked how they were done: oven, boiled, etc. They wouldn't tell us. Again, seriously? You don't know, care or simply don't want to share? I wasn't even complaining, just asking to understand what I was eating.I found this kind of service doesn't invite me to come back

The woman that served me was really nice. The chips were very good and freh and cheap too! I'm going to come here every Monday for lunch
