I phoned up on a Monday morning and told the operator that I am going to be homeless on the Friday. We then filled a application in. Then it was passed to another. Dept. Who told me that a house is available in Fagley. Bradford. That fell through. Then they said there's a house in Wyke. And that I should get it. I left it for a few days and rang up on wed. They said there is nothing on my file. Saying about the house. In Wyke. I told them that I was disabled. And have got rheumatoid. Arthritis. And need somewhere quick. I ran up on Friday. After I was kicked out and homeless. To be told that there is no house for me. And was not offered any temporary I from Friday night have slept in my car. Until tues. after the bank holiday Monday holiday. Till I can ring the dept and find out what the hell is happening. And why I was left homeless

Bradford council housing options department are a disgrace. They practice direct discrimination against the most vulnerable in society & demonstrate ZERO duty of care toward those who they have a legal, moral and ethical duty to protect. Housing officers lack compassion, they are rude, aggressive and intolerant to those who desperately seek their services. The department seems to seek to manipulate the legal framework that is in place to protect individuals and families in crisis. They also fail to adhere the housing and homeless act's and the certainly don't demonstrate any understanding of it. Bradford council should be ashamed of themselves.

Shocking won't even rehome my friend who is fleeing domestic abuse bacikly been told that she need to be either propper hurt by then b 4 they can do anything there a joke and can not be arsed to help any one

Pleasant and helpful staff. Good advice and instructions given.

The housing department and social service department are horrible. People on the team basically tell you, 'Your abuse is not abuse.' Those on the phone line make fun on you and are so rude.I tried to have support with emergency housing. The team no longer pick up the phone. Unhelpful! One staff member explained, 'You can call for advice,' and didn't follow through. I'm left in an unfortunate position because when I go to other councils, no one helps because I'm not from that area. These people are useless. There's no point coming here if it is for any abuse other than physical.

The most rude staff and the most irresponsible organization, and the most useless place in Bradford, they have no respect for the customers at all, I have been there every day for a month, and I have told them that they don't care that I am homeless , where has humanity gone? Is this respect for human rights?

When I had problems with a cowboy landlord they were extremely friendly and helpful and put me in a temporary house before helping me find a permanent home which I must say is in a lovely area the staff were all very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help me get the basics I needed for my new home I can.t thank them enough
