This budget hotel went above and beyond my expectations. I showed up at the worst possible time at 8 am in the morning during their breakfast and checkout rush and would have considered myself lucky to just drop bags and go jet lagZombie around London for seven hours waiting for checkin to open but Alex one of their staff went above and beyond to find me a room to early check in in. Offered coffee breakfast while I waited even.Other than that the room was clean, bed comfortable, location fantastic. I would go again. Thanks Alex and team for the wonderful work your team did.

Location of the hotel is great. Rooms are small, but clean. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom small. Our room was located on the inside, so it was quiet. Breakfast should be more diverse, it had a lot of pastry. Wifi in our room was bad. We had to sit at the end of the bed that we get it at all.But overall the experience was ok. I would return back due to great location.

Bad experience with the air conditioning. In cold weather, the room feels chilly and there is not normal heating, just air conditioning throwing warm" air that creates air flow and dryness. We needed to ask for a heater which seemed to be normal as they had some of them at reception.Besides

If there is a place that wants to make the most out of their guests, it’s definitely this one. BEWARE!The best part was probably the location and the booking process, because once at the hotel everything started to go south. Upon our arrival at around 11am we were told we could not check in because the rooms were not ready and that we would have to leave our luggage in one of their rooms. Upon our return from walking around the city, we were finally able to get our rooms. To our surprise, one of the two rooms we had booked, the double one, looked nothing like the pictures (both on the hotel’s website and/or Booking). The double room we got was a shoe box, the smallest one on the floor as per the blueprints with almost no space to move around, tiny bed for two people, tiny bathroom. Therefore, I complained to one of the staff members, who was kind enough to check the room and assured me he would leave a note so we could switch rooms the next day. To my surprise, I was told that many people in central London want to make the most out of tourists and that this might be the reason why the hotel gets so many complaints about the rooms not matching the agencies descriptions. However, despite having checked both the hotel’s website and several booking sites, the pictures displayed are exactly the same. Furthermore, it was mentioned that we were allocated such a tiny room because we checked in late, despite having been told that our rooms were not ready.Next day morning, I went downstairs to inquire for the new room but there was no note left about the complaint, nor the request to switch rooms, so I had to explain everything again to the lady at reception. Instead of trying to solve the issue, she tried to talk me out by saying “but you’re checking out tomorrow”, which triggered quite some noticeable anger after not resting well. Therefore, she instructed me to checkout, drop the key card, and assured me that the new room was already allocated and that we could have it by the evening. However, and again, to our additional disappointment, upon our arrival in the afternoon, the receptionist had no clue about our situation. Again, there were no reports, no requests, nor allocated rooms. After a third explanation and some calls, we were finally able to head to our room (the one that we had actually booked and matched the booking description). Yet, we could not sleep well due to the annoying and creepy sound of the elevator. The cherry on the top was when, despite the issues with the rooms, we asked to leave our luggage on hold until our departure, and we were told that there was a free allowance for only ONE piece of luggage per room, which is absolutely ridiculous, when a double, and/or twin rooms are booked. We ended up paying without even being offered to store our stuff as a courtesy.

Is a good located hotel and recommended just if you’re staying just one night in London. Some of the politics you’ve to think about before booking:- You must confirm that the pictures of the room you're booking correspond to the room they are giving you.- we didn’t have the opportunity to have breakfast while the rooms were ready.- Cleaning rooms policy - They don’t clean the room, change towels or check your personal cleaning elements such as shampoo, body soap (3 days in a row). That’s why is just good for one night and few people. If you have kids, for sure you can search for a better option.- when you check out you must pay for more than 1 bag (or other element) for storage if you want to continue visiting London. Even if in the room are 2 people staying, you just can storage 1 bag (for sure you’ve done shopping and came from your country with more than one bag). Conclusion:If you’re coming for business or just for visit London in one day is good, but good cleaning and services are limited.

Great location, very poor room. The room was tiny, even by London standards. One of us had to move out of the way to let the other walk past. Bathroom even tinier. No tea or coffee in the room, nowhere to put suitcases, we had to stand them up the door. No hand towel for my hair. Very loud road noise. For £160 this was not value for money.

Great location and a clean, if small, room. Be warned if you struggle to sleep with any lights on. There was a bright green light in the ceiling that kept me awake. I was told by reception that it's a legal necessity for windowless rooms below ground, which ours was. Fair enough, but it is BRIGHT for sleeping, so bear this in mind if lights interrupt your sleep.

Just a few blocks from King's Cross and St. Pancras so it's a perfect location for travelers. Be warned that the rooms are SMALL, especially by American standards. But that being said they are very modern, well designed, and comfortable. And be honest, you're only here to sleep, not live, so you shouldn't be in the room much. The lobby is comfortable with a bar and areas for relaxing and socializing. Staff were consistently helpful and friendly. An AC issue was quickly taken care of while we were out for the day. Elevators are VERY TINY! Barely room for 2 people and 2 suitcases, so be warned. We would definitely stay here again!

This location is only 7 minutes walk from the underground and two major railroad stations. The room was clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. And the price is ridiculously good.Dont book overpriced hotels if you only need a room in London to sleep and take showers and grab some fresh breakfast before you hit the road.

I've had a wonderful time staying here during my London trip. The hotel is only a brief walk away from King's Cross St. Pancras station, making it easily accessible from all over London. Our room was beautiful, quite large, and very clean, and everyone we've talked to has been kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, as well as consider staying there again on my next visit!
