The Beaufort is a wonderful hotel. Cosy, friendly staff, great room and it is very dog friendly! What more could you want?!

The Hotel is perfectly situated near town center. Dolce and her husband at the registration were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was our first visit to this Hotel, and sadly we won't be back. The lack of service, especially from the manager was nothing short of disgraceful. Whilst we waited to book breakfast, he continued to chat to a patron about his back story, whilst completely ignoring our needs, so we left and decided that we would find breakfast elsewhere! The room was clean and comfortable, so credit due there, but the whole Hotel including Bar closes at 10pm, which seems early these days. Shame, as the location was good, but I would suggest you look elsewhere!

Small independent hotel with not too many rooms and single rooms available for a smaller price. Reasonable car park, walking distance into town, late night key entry, and a Tunnock’s tea cake for everyone. Separate bar and restaurant, and service is always good and attentive. No hesitation on choosing again.

Kitchen was closed so unfortunately no dinner had to go outside the hotel for food. Was offered soup and sandwiches as an alternative which would be served up until 8pm. Also disappointed to discover that breakfast was not included in the room price of £110. Additional £16 for breakfast which is very expensive pushing up the cost of staying here. First time I have stayed at a hotel and breakfast is not included in the price. No bottled water in the rooms. At that price I would expect as a minimum bottled water to be in a room. Tea, coffee in room but again normally you get few complimentary biscuits in rooms (at this price) but alas nothing. Reception lady was friendly and helpful. Hotel has seating area out front which is lovely but not so great if your room is at the front bit noisy can hear people chatting up until 11pm luckily nothing after that. Also a main road to the front making traffic a bit noisy too. Room itself was ok and clean enough. Would not say the room rate was value for money though. A good thing was it was close to the station with an easy walk. However if I had known the food situation I would have brought some snacks for my room for during the night and for my breakfast.

Nice wee hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A few parts of the room especially the bathroom need a bit of updating/repair. But nice and quiet in the evening away from the seagulls that normally keep you up all nite down by the river. Cracking breakfast.

The hotel is close to the city centre, apparently family run, saw a lot of different staff, everybody was friendly but not outstanding. Rooms are clean and spacious, everything you need. BUT you won’t be able to relax. It is a very noisy hotel. The floor boards creek on every corner and you can hear your neighbours slamming doors and walking around. Like elephants on the roof. Very disappointing and I hardly slept. The air condition of the kitchen is directly underneath of the rooms and will only be turned off after the kitchen is closed. (10pm?), so you can hear a tremor through the walls constantly.I give 3-4 stars due to the cleanliness and location, but won’t return or recommend. The breakfast is very expensive and only standard. Morrisons has a similar breakfast for £10 less.

Outside areas & rooms a little shabby. All the outside would take is some tidying up, weeding and painting but it seems to be missed. The cost of shabby rooms are high! However Inverness as a whole for hotels is expensive. The food here is very expensive for what it is. Overall I think I would say The Beaufort is not really having to male much effort as they get the money anyway. I've also heard they downgrade rooms booked via booking sites if they feel the amount paid was too low so beware - the room you book at the price you pay might not be what you end up with!
