My new wife (Nat) and I got married here on the 27th October 2022 and we only booked this amazing venue in February 2022.Throughout the entire lead up, Jocelyn, Alice, and Beth were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was fast and useful and the in person meetings were so helpful too.On the day of the wedding, Beth had everything under control. The whole day seemed to flow flawlessly and whilst it was a busy day for us, at no point was it stressful.We even wanted guests to play a game for their bar drinks rather than just having a tab, and the team were more than happy to accommodate this and it went down extremely well.We fell in love with the venue as soon as we first went there so we're both so grateful you were able to make it such a memorable day not just for us, but for all of our guests too.If you want a truly beautiful wedding venue with amazing surroundings, organisation and staff, look no further than Swallows Nest Barn.So from the bottom of our hearts, Thank you.Dave and Nat.

Swallows Nest Barn is a real treasure of a venue. The barn, courtyard and surrounding areas are naturally stunning and make for a great setting and photo opportunities - they only need some small touches to make your wedding unique to you! The staff are 10/10, every single one of them puts in so much effort to give you a wonderful day! The food is also fantastic by Lemon Zest, and we even managed to add on an ice cream cart! We had an unbelievable wedding here in July and our guests also had an amazing time. Would 100% recommend this venue!

TLDR: Swallows Nest Barn was everything we could have asked for in a wedding venue. The staff were incredibly helpful and flexible from start to finish, the location beautiful and the food amazing. We genuinely couldn’t be happier about every part of our day thanks to them!From the first open day, Swallows Nest Barn were friendly, helpful and clear about everything. They were the first venue we saw, and answered all our confused questions thoroughly and with a smile. They were really clear about how booking worked, about costs, about the steps between day 1 and the wedding and about everything else we wanted to know. They had suggestions for how weddings had worked well there before, but were also completely flexible to match any of our ideas. This flexibility was the most impressive thing throughout the process – whatever we wanted or could think of they always wanted to say yes and pretty much always did.They invite all couples with a booking to a tasting evening to try a selection of the food offered. This was a brilliant opportunity to ask some more questions, to see the table layouts and to see which of the options of food and drink suited best. All of it was amazing and the food was very well reviewed by our guests. Additionally, we wanted a specific dish that wasn’t on any of the menus (Fajitas!) and the chefs were happy to go for it and worked hard to make it work for us, with brilliant results.In the months building up to the wedding, we had a couple of planning meetings which covered all the details we needed to think of. These were really helpful for steering us towards the things we still had to decide without worrying us unduly! We also were able to get in touch and get a response with any questions throughout this period. Again, SNB made clear to us what we had to do by when and what we could expect from them, which was really appreciated.On and around the day, Lauren and Beth both worked to make our experience as easy and stress free as possible. A traffic accident meant some of our guests were very delayed including our readers, but Lauren kept us in the loop without stressing us out. We were never worried about anything going wrong, partly because all the details had been thought about by Beth in advance and partly because Lauren and Beth both gave us complete confidence that whatever happened would be taken care of.Last but definitely not least, it is a completely stunning venue! The exposed brickwork and beams of the barn contrasts brilliantly with the modern shoot room area, the countryside setting is gorgeous and satisfied my rural husband’s need for views, and the courtyard and lawn made for a perfect intimate setting while still allowing plenty of space for everyone to spread out. There were multiple private and beautiful locations for photos and the whole layout worked perfectly for every part of the day. We had a perfect wedding day and a large part of that was due to Swallows Nest Barn!

From the moment we stepped into the courtyard, I knew this was the place. The setting and the grounds are beautiful, the barn is absolutely perfect for a wedding and the welcome we had from the team and the enthusiasm they have for the venue gave us an insight into what our day could be like.Most (normal!) people plan a wedding with about 18 months to go, we first spoke to swallows nest just 7 weeks before our wedding day. Over our 7 weeks I met 4 lovely members of the team - Beth and Lianne who showed us around and did our planning, then Jocelyn and Alex who looked after us on the wedding day. They were all perfect in every single way and made everything effortless. We were incredibly lucky that they had our Saturday in July available - I believe this was fate! - but everything else was down to them.The wedding day ran like complete clockwork without any effort or input needed from us. We were just completely caught up in the moment and Jocelyn and Alex made sure we had the most perfect time. I honestly wouldn’t have changed a single thing if we’d have had 18 months or just 2 months planning. The venue, the setting, the people, the organisation, the food, the drinks and everything else on top was perfect.Even the next day when we came to pick up our car and belongings, everything was meticulously and safely packed up for us ready to take away.If you are considering having your wedding here, I don’t know what more to write to say that this is the place. Cannot recommend this venue highly enough. Even from the first visit, Leanne, Alice, Abby and the team impressed us with their attention to detail, dedication and responsiveness.They relieved all stresses during the planning process, and then went above and beyond to look after everything on the day.The venue is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was brilliant.100% picking this venue was the best decision we made.

What an incredible magical experience, our Wedding was a superb day, everything was perfect. The venue was jaw droppingly beautiful, the staff couldn't do enough for us and our guests, and the food was delicious, it was just the perfect day, one we will always remember. Swallows Nest Barn is one of my favourite venues! I captured a wedding here last year and I fell in love with the place! Not only is the venue stunning, the team were fantastic and the opportunities for photos were endless! I would 100% recommend this place!

We don’t even know how to put into words how amazing Swallows Nest Barn is!! The staff are so attentive, from the day of our first viewing all the way until after our wedding day, nothing could be too much. Our first planning meeting was with Abby who was so lovely and knowledgable. We had lots of questions about different packages etc and Abby went away to find out everything we needed to know within days of meeting us!We have spoken a lot to Alice who has helped lots over the phone/email when I needed things explaining or confirming, and I never ever felt like a nuisance.So thank you Alice, Abby and all of Swallows Nest team who help us along the journey, worked incredibly hard on the day and looked so professional!And the biggest shoutout to Beth, who co ordinated our wedding day from start to finish. I’ve never heard so many guests compliment a member of staff in my life!! The way Beth organised the guests, announced things on the microphone and was completely attentive through the whole night was incredible.So thank you so much Beth for making our day one to remember and it would not have been the same without you!Aside from the amazing staff, I knew Swallows Nest Barn was the one as soon as I turned into the beautiful drive down. The barn is kept so clean and tidy and is just the most stunning venue. There are such amazing picture opportunities, a photographers heaven!!!!I mean I could go on for hours writing, but to sum it up, Swallows Nest is a 5* venue and each member of staff is 5* too.Thank you so much for making our day so magical! I recently shot a wedding at Swallows Nest Barn and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue! It was a scorching hot day, but there were loads of comfortable shaded spots for the guests to enjoy drinks and canapés. The barn itself is an amazing room to hold the ceremony and reception, with a rustic/contemporary feel. There is an abundance of wonderful locations around the venue for couples photos, I also found the secret woodland ceremony area which I would love to photograph at one day. All the staff were very helpful and efficient, they even managed to arrange a golf buggy to ferry us out to the best spot for our sunset photos! If you're thinking about Swallows Nest for your wedding venue, go for it!

Mikey and I had such an amazing day for our wedding in September, it couldn't have gone any better! Jocelyn, Alex and the team at Swallows Nest are absolutely fantastic, they did an amazing job. We actually had two weddings here, due to the deteriorating health of a family member we got married in the barn in April 2022. With just 6 days notice we got everything in place, the Swallows Nest team were so kind, professional, and helpful we can't thank them enough for making it happen.We’d strongly recommend using Swallows Nest Barn as your wedding venue. If the weather is kind, as it was for us, definitely consider have your ceremony in the wooded area, it makes for extra special setting.
