We owe the trip of a lifetime to Joshua. With tips on where to explore, get off the beaten track and avoid the summer crowds he suggested a destination to explore we may not have thought of ourselves. We found wild, remote highlands and islands in the middle of summer holidays, camped on white sands, swam in mountain pools & waterfalls and didn't see a motorway/A road for days.Joshua is a one-of-a-kind business owner. Patient, thoughtful, energised and always excited for adventures (yours as well as his own). He's always happy to oblige questions along your way. We felt immediately welcome at his place when picking up the Defender as he went off to get us a cuppa and chat through our trip plan. If you are looking for a Highlands or Islands adventure this is just the best fun ever, who wouldn’t want to get away from it all in a classic Landrover Defender with its own tent on top, nearly as good looking as the viewsyou will pass on road trip that must be seen to be believed.Great service from Joshua, all the camping gear for some memorable nights away.Don’t forget warm clothes and a good waterproof jacket, it’s Scotland, and enjoy the weather, as you will get it plenty of it.Joshua can point you in the direction of some beautiful places to stay or just stop where you fancy, that’s the great thing about this trip.We had a great time on the mainland on to Skye, then to the Outer Hebrides before returning to Dunoon.Trip of a lifetime and already talking of a returnThanks Wandering Icons

My girlfriend and I hired one of these defenders last weekend and spent a few days driving around. It was one of the best experiences of my life! Within one hours drive of where we collected the vehicle we found some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The landscape is fantastic around there. We camped for two nights in the roof tent (surprisingly spacious and comfortable) on two different beaches. The owner of the company (Josh) was super helpful throughout the whole booking process and gave us lots of recommendations of where to go. The Land Rover, roof tent, camping equipment, bedding etc were all great also. I would highly recommend this experience :-)

Such an amazing experience. Allowed us to see some amazing parts of Scotland, in such a beautiful vehicle. The Land Rover was very smooth to drive and we got in some amazing camping spots (with the roof tent) in some beautiful scenery. Josh (the owner) was fab at providing some great recommendations which were both very useful and such good tips. Would recommend to anyone.

Rented one of their defender 110’s for a couple days in the Scottish Borders. Had a great time, car was presented nicely and well maintained, Josh went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Will be back!
