Village Gym Walsall

i am a member for 6 years now. like to come her.staffs are nice but only one new receptionist on afternoon shift, old women is moody and talk to ppl like rubbish and aggressive.dont know why they took here in. i wont stay long if she does lol.i rather go elsewhere.

Have been a member for around 18 months and it's good value for money. They have upgraded a lot of the equipment and the gym layout.My only complaint is that, despite how friendly instructors are, some of the spin classes are deafening, meaning that not only is it a health and safety hazard, the class instructors don't actually instructors or motivate the class. Their only interaction during the class is hand signals. Other classes, so not great.Other instructors look like they're going through the motions...

My first impression as I've only been here once. Reception staff seemed disinterested in answering questions both over the phone and when I arrived. The gym seems nice but the spin class music was so loud it was hurting my ears and I wasn't even in the class! The changing rooms were dirty and members hog the equipment for hours. The photos of the equipment are not up-to date and show kit which the gym does not have.

I've been a member for over 20 years I first used the Dudley pool then Walsall pool both very good pools. My complaint is if they have to close the pool they have never informed me.This morning was of those days. When I question why I hadn't been informed. We haven't got that facility was the answer. Definitely one of the best gyms in Walsall. Nice gym floor with a lot of equipment including recovery. The spa facilities are also well maintained making it a great post workout.The shower facilities are also very spacious and equipped well. Staff at this gym are very polite and helpful.

Been a member for over 3 years here and my honest reviewFacilities eg sauna steam and pool are dirty. You’d find yourself sitting a pool of sweat in the sauna as there is rarely any staff cleaning this.Staff are rude and maybe borderline racist with their attitude at times. A very “it’s someone else’s job” kind of attitude.Not very professional. I’ve been robbed by the staff by paying for locker passes at times I’ve forgotten mine. Only to be informed when I return them that they can’t refund me because they were free.I’ve heard stories of athletes foot being passed around members of the pool which would make sense as the 3 years I’ve been a member I’ve only seen the mop being used once.Facilities are a 6/10 on a good day when everything is clean and the staff aren’t a nuisance.There are some members of staff such as Tracy who do make village a pleasant experience but it is unfortunate that the rest of the team are so difficult and unbothered

Best pool locally. Changing rooms currently being updated.Don't expect to get into the hot tub on an evening if you're a woman. It's always full of men.Staff are friendly but pool staff don't uphold the 'swim times'. It's not unusual to find children in the pool an hour into the adult only sessions.

Visited on a friends free pass, facilities were very clean and staff super friendly and helpful. Looking into taking out my own membership in near future. Would highly recommend. Only seen the pool and associated facilities so far, once I have in gym will update review.

The gym is good, great facilities etc but I have to say its the first time I have joined a gym and just been given a membership card and basically told to get on with it. No one has shown me around or given any further information!
