Portsmouth Player Ready Virtual Reality (VR) Gaming, Escape Room & Kids Party Venue

Gaming experienced was excellent. Equipment worked well in the free-roam area and the games were exciting and immersive. My party had a great time. My only quibble, hence detracting one star, is that we only played for about 45 of the 60 minutes payed for. While we were early, the employee insisted on waiting to start us until another booking showed up. The other booking was late so we didn't actually start playing until 15 minutes into the session. Likewise, the employee was very prompt to end our session at the end of the time slot even though there was no other parties reserved for the free-roam area. Would have appreciated getting the full time payed for.

Went for twins 18th. Watching everyone have fun is the best part. Both employees made us welcome and helped when we got stuck. Upstairs games was good but preferred down stairs Arazona game. That was the best. Our son loved it so much he is getting a Vr for home. We will return again.

Decent setup of vr games as you'd expect. But the helpful staff really made it for us. We went for a birthday present and the birthday boy wasn't expecting interactive vr so didn't want to partake. But they don't miss a beat in providing him with a good time

Had a GREAT time. Literally feel obsessed. Can't stop thinking about the experience and badly want my own vr headset now!!Went with brother for 90min session. Kindly let us spend sometime in free roam area even though technically paid for arcade games (the free roam area was not in use at this time so we were very lucky)Played laser tag and a small escape room in free roam area.For me though playing arizona sunshine the zombie shooting game was soooo good, I especially loved horde mode where waves of hordes come at you and each level gets harder.So good and I recommend!In fact I've been recommending! GO GO GO!!!

A poor experience when visited last month. Came as a group to play the Zombies VR game - kicked myself out of the game after 15 minutes leaving the rest of the group in.Managed two games of Among Us and then tried to play another game as a group which then put me in a different lobby!Sadly for the hour booking I managed to play x2 games successfully with my friends.Complained at the time and promised a refund however then refused and offered a £10 voucher.As other reviews state, poor decor, entrance is tatty and smells. Customer service lacking with Employees who seem to fabricate accounts.One to avoid. (Email chain can be posted for confirmation of review).

A big shout out for Bethany who did a superb job in patiently marshalling six of us 'older customers' through the VR games. Even when the technology had the inevitable odd hiccup (or one of us messed up the instructions) she never got flustered and helped us get back into the game. Good value for money and a lot of fun, whatever your age !

Went with a friend and had a fantastic time! Wish we'd booked the 90 minutes, but as I didn't know how I would react to using a headset (motion sickness, headache, etc) we thought it safer to book 60. But in that 60 minutes we got to play a good couple of games, and the fella there was really helpful! He asked at certain points if we wanted to try anything else, and gave recommendations for which ones were multiplayer, and he helped us set up the lobbies. My headset did crash, so he gave us a extra couple of minutes, which let us play two songs on the rhythm game.My only negative comment is that the decor and entrance is rather bland and a little uninviting. More like a gaming basement than a casual professional area. Could use some decorations, some lights, colour the walls maybe. But these aren't worth docking a star as everything was clean and totally fine, just didn't give activity/event space vibes.Will be returning in the future, hopefully for the 90 minutes!

Booked a 2 and a half hour party and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both Beth & Jake coped brilliantly with the constant demands of the boys at the party and the boys had a brilliant time. My son said he had the best time of his life. Received feedback from the parents of the children who came who all said they had an amazing time. Well worth the money. Will definitely recommend and come back in the future. Thanks so much.

Very disappointed with our experience today. Felt bad for the guy on the desk who was very friendly. Literally all the best games didnt work and the headsets kept malfunctioning. Got some vouchers to come back but if i were management just spend some money revamping the place and sorting the software so everything is downloaded and set up. The interior looks bit cheap and as others have commented the entrance does just smell like urine.
