Hampton by Hilton Rochdale

Great hotel I took my girlfriend here for her birthday as our favourite curry house is round the corner (Eastern) our stay was excellent staff are friendly, room was spotless and breakfast is amazing.

The hotel facilities are great, particularly the WiFi speed. The breakfast is also excellent. I would like to make a special mention of Carina who provided service well beyond exemplary. She is an absolute credit to the hotel.

Staying here for business. as a new build hotel its not very well sign posted nor is it clear where is best to park. There is a small 2 story car park opposite, which has nothing to do with the hotel, no parking comps and no parking included. confusingly, they still ask for your registration number?The foyer/bar/restaurant is pleasant and well decorated. There is ample seating and the atmosphere is warm.the room is small but well designed.The bathroom is great, the bed is really comfy as are the amenities. should more thought been put into the TV's a better choice would have included a TV with the ability to cast your screen to.There was no red wine at the bar which was pretty poor.The staff were efficient and definitely friendly extra kudos.The food is abysmal.There are improvements that could be made that would improve the overall experience. but i would make the reccomendation to stay based on the rooms and the price.

Immaculately clean, fresh and comfortable hotel. Upon entering the ambience was very warming and welcoming, there is ample room to sit in the lobby and almost a private section to enjoy breakfast on the other side, that is where my husband and I chose to sit. The room was so clean, fresh and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking is exactly opposite the hotel, literally across the road and we received 25% off our total parking cost, for one night, we paid £4 for parking. Breakfast was lovely, there were many options aswell as fresh pastries, fresh waffles; but my most favourite thing was the coffee machine. I would definitely stay here again and hope this standard is maintained, thank you!

Can't fault this place. Relatively cheap, with full (self service buffet) English breakfast. Free refills of tea or coffee. My room had a wet room shower, not a stand in bath, which I struggle with. Very handy for Rochdale town, bus station and tram stops. Short walk, or ride to railway station. Staff very helpfull and friendly.

My review is solely based on Breakfast walk in. I did not stay at the hotel itself. So... I thought I would check out the new hotel as a local resident, I visited asking if the hotel does breakfast for none staying guests.A lovely staff member took care of it and made me aware that they just need to find out the price. I'm guessing as the hotel is new that I was the first customer to come for breakfast without staying there. So it's understandable they had to get the correct price.After waiting a few minutes, I was asked to go ahead and grab my breakfast while they got the price. The polite and happy staff member soon came over and told me that the breakfast would be £12.95.Unfortunately, it wasn't explained about the service charge for the help yourself buffet breakfast, so when on payment at the end, it actually costs £14.23.In terms of the breakfast, it was totally fine. Everything on offer was cooked well, and the coffee is good. However, I did recognise that the first 3 or 4 coffee cups under the coffee machine weren't clean and still stained, but I found a clean one.The breakfast area is clean, and it's a good space, especially for meetings and a place to chill. The location is super.My final thoughts are...I'd like to have had the full price of breakfast explained as it was a little surprise once upon payment that it was a different amount.Also, it wasn't explained what time breakfast ended, and the receipt I got didn't display the breakfast price or the percentage of service charge". (It just says Goods Services)Just a few things to think about to make it simpler for the customer.However

Rooms are lovely, spacious with comfortable beds, staff on the whole seemed very inexperienced and clueless. Drinks are RIDICULOUSLY expensive, just under £20 for a couple of drinks and then I get a receipt that isn't even itemised and the bar staff weren't even going to give me the rest of the bottle of tonic I bought after she poured the drink until I asked for it!Breakfast was okay but the bacon was rock hard and way too salty. Definitely some teething problems that they need to iron out.

Fantastic Hotel in the centre of Rochdale. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Rooms are exceptional, with a big screen TV, king size bed, and large shower cubicle. We enjoyed our stay Andy will deffinatly return here again.
