I suppose I like it here although I wish for more after school activities and for the day to last till 9 (as I heard they did pre-pandemic). I do love in nottingham and I do 3 days out of the week. I would wish to spend those 2 other days doing extracurricular stuff.

Excellent College. Modern and bright, impressive building and set up for music, gaming and future games. Great teaching staff, who encourage and nature the students, to their fully potential.

I have been a student here since 2019 (4 years of music tech undergrad) and I'm returning in September to do an audio engineering masters. To me this place feels like a home, which is why I have felt inclined to stay. Student services and my lecturers have been superb, they are people I've come to think very fondly of. They really care, and even staff members I hadn't been taught by since first or second year stop to say hi in the corridor, have a chat and remember you by first name basis. I joke that they're like my dads lolThere aren't enough facilities I think but god they are amazing. And you get to learn skills that truly prepare you to work in the industry, as well as actual relevant theory, rather than to do some boring multiple choice test or something. It really feels everything I learned is useful to know, even if it doesn't apply to the field I want to knowAlso, join societies! If one is bad or not for you, don't let it discourage you from joining others, there's so many amazing and very active ones. Being part of societies has been huge for my mental health at uni, especially as I had few friends in my course (I got better along with my lecturers than them even if I'm a disorganised mess and far from an exemplar student lmao).

Confetti College is unlike no other educational institute I have ever been a part of. The unrivaled industry connections and industry links is what sets Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies apart from its rivals. There is also a wide variety of courses available in areas that, despite being in high demand in the working world, are underrepresented in education. The courses provide both theoretical and practical experience which sets students up perfectly for graduation. The tutors, students, staff and atmosphere of Confetti College in general is incredibly welcoming and it's exciting to be working for the company in these hugely progressive times.

Some of the lessons are way too long that it's just physically and mentally draining. With lessons being upto 3 or 4 hours, and some of the lessons aren't even on the website. If they are going to make you do a 3 hour lesson they should tell you it's part of the course, and this isn't about maths and English cause that part I understand and know you would need to do that in any college, it's subjects like PPD (personal and professional development) or careers development which they had no mention of on the website. And being at college from 9 - 6 on some days just seems so stupid to me. Basically they need to sought their timing out thinking around 3 hours in a classroom sometimes with no breaks is an okay thing to do. I have had lessons at this college that were from 9 - 12, just sitting in a classroom for hours struggling to do any work because I feel so unmotivated, an 1 or 2 hours for a lesson seems fine maybe 2 is pushing it slightly unless you give like a 20 or 15 minute break in between, but 3 or 4 hours is just draining physically and mentally.

Confetti is different to other colleges in Nottingham because all of the tutors are connected with real industry employers. This means the students at Confetti not only get the advantage of meeting people in the jobs they want to go into, but also have a better chance of landing a job following the completion of their course. Whether it's music, TV, film, games, graphic design or performance - Confetti is the place to be for those who have a desire to get into the UK's ever-growing creative industry.

I wasted a year there. It's sad really because it seemed promising at first. But no. They've only had one room with good computers and I didn't even get a chance to use it even though they have made promises otherwise. The course was boring and so were the most of teachers there. It seemed like no one cared. Worst of all, they've managed to lose students work resulting in them failing. I only hope they've improved now due to their 9 million investment. I'm well informed so I'll keep you posted wether or not they've improved.

Depends on which direction you're approaching it from. If you're a student then it's a good place to learn. Anyone considering studying at Confetti can expect knowledgeable and dedicated staff who work hard to deliver the best experience possible and pretty good facilities. On the flip side, I can't really recommend working here as a member of staff. The place is ran too much like a business and the wages offered are not in proportion with the work that is expected. Often you will find that financial matters will trump everything else, including common sense. Added to this, you can expect little in the way of support from management and often the HR department are next to no help when called upon. Myself and other tutors I've spoken to (both current and former) seem to be in agreement that working for Confetti can be a very frustrating experience. It's a shame really because if they cared enough to address these issues then it could be a good place to work.

I spent several years at Confetti and it is without doubt, the most extraordinary organisation I have had the pleasure of being part of. In a league of its own as far as colleges are concerned, as analysis of the positive reviews can show you.The negative reviews are unfortunate but not from anyone who's actually been there. If you're really interested, go to one of their many open days, speak to staff and students, and make your own mind up.
