Charley and the team are brilliant, there is so much love and passion in what they do and every treatment I have had has been a fantastic experience. I'm always made to feel like they care about my personal needs and I would recommend The Garden Retreat to anyone and everyone. I have had massages, nails, eyebrows, eyelashes, and will be returning for many more appointments in the future.

I first met Charley three year ago when I popped in to see her for a skin consultation. Her knowledge & passion for what she does shone through.From there I have visited The Garden Retreat for a number of different treatments from bespoke facials, eyelash extensions, waxing & most recently brow treatments.In the past when having facial & waxing treatments I have ended up feeling uncomfortable with the beauty therapist & salon. That could not be further from how I feel whenever I see Charley. I feel comfortable, relaxed & welcomed! I cannot say enough good things about how wonderful Charley, not just at what she does as a “job” (I say that because it feels like more than a “job” to her) but also as a person.More recently I had a brow lamination with Maisie who is a newer team member of The Garden Retreat & I was absolutely thrilled with the results. I also loved meeting Maisie - she knows her stuff & I will definitely be back to see her in the future.I only wish that I could spend time at The Garden Retreat every week!

The Garden retreat is absolutely amazing and all the treatments I have had have left me feeling fabulous and well looked after. All the girls give so much time and attention and really know their stuff! I loved my lashes with Maisie and I have also had pedicures/ manicures and massages that have been amazing! Charley the owner is a wealth of the knowledge and supports her team and customers with so much care and love! I appreciate you may have seen randomly popping up 1* reviews. I can absolutely say that these are not even customers of the Garden Retreat and nasty online cyber bullies trying to create issues for a thriving amazing salon (as seen by all the other amazing 5/5 reviews). So please book a treatment knowing you’re going to get professional, caring, knowledgeable beauticians who make you feel amazing!

My children bought me a voucher for my birthday for the beauty salon. I have never been before, but i had the most fabulous facial i have ever had and i do get them every month. I was invited to a 30 minute consultation before the treatment which i have never been offered before by any other salon, which was very thorough. professional, informative and was a great insight into caring for my ageing face. The facial made my skin feel amazing for days after the treatment. And Charley was so generous and gave me some samples which i am still using so i feel i am prolonging the wonderful feel of my face weeks after the treatment.I have since been back to consider another type of treatment and again was offered a free consultation with Charley and Aimee. They were both very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and really give you the confidence to progress with any other treatment you may be considering. I highly recommend this salon and am so grateful my children bought me this voucher.

I have been going to the Garden Retreat for beauty since Charley was running the business out of a spare bedroom at her family home & have never looked back. As a natural introvert Charley's warm, kind & positive persona put me immediately at ease not to mention the quality of the treatments being second to none - I have never trusted anyone else with my brows!Since then I've seen the business grow to what it is now - an Award Winning salon offering world class service & some amazing unique treatments. I cannot recommend Charley & the Garden Retreat team enough!

I cannot recommend the Garden Retreat enough, if I could give more than 5 stars I would! I’ve had treatments with Charley and Tiff so far and have left feeling amazing!I would highly recommend Thyme with Charley if you want a really luxurious treatment that not only makes you feel great on the outside but also on the inside, Charley really is knowledgeable about so much and knows what treatments you need!She really has helped me more than she knows over the past few months to help make me feel more me! My experiences at The Garden retreat have always been incredible. I’ve always left feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and pampered. The staff at The Garden Retreat are all SO friendly and kind. It’s a relaxed experience from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them enough.Molly and Tiff have both given me massages and they are both absolutely amazing at what they do - I’d never go anywhere else for a massage anymore!5 * recommendation isn’t enough!!!
