Disgusted left the pub opened my own beer outside which according to the police who the pub rang I am entitled to do and the pub owner threatened me and the people I was with with the locals, the locals by the way know myself and would probably have backed me.... This ain't done yet . By the way this is not a threat to property or persons but a threat to the continued custom to the pub itself

Good pub for watching football and racing, great atmosphere on match days. Beer kept well but only one hand pump, usually Doom Bar.

Just left this pub. Went there as it is my local. But I rarely go for a pint, but thought I would as, well, Liverpool FC were playing to win the premiership. I am a neutral. I don't support a football team, but enjoy watching the big games. Young lad at the back of the pub tried to have a go at me; I felt physically threatened and intimidated. Staff okay, but management need to have a word with the youngsters: 'just because you do not recognise someone, it does not mean they are against Liverpool FC, or an enemy. Visitors are allowed to visit this pub. You do not determine who can drink here. Doubt I will return. Youngsters hostile. Felt all very territorial

Staff not very welcoming. Couldn't be bothered attitude. Plenty of televisions for sport. A beer garden? Full of noisy school kids? Teenage, underage drinkers. Not for me!
