Ordered a washing machine which the three deliverers (two were apparently training) refused bring into my house because of steps at front, My husband was also present to help as another pair of hands. Ironically AO have delivered larger items to me previously with no issue. AO still had the audacity to deduct the item cost from my credit card even though it was returned. Also, had I been a woman living on my own I would NOT have been happy allowing the two on a training day coming into my house. They had a threatening demeanour and cavalier attitude. Ordered SAME item from Amazon which was not only cheaper but delivered next day into the house with no hassle. In future, I shall always use Amazon instead. Will avoid AO at all costs.

Delivery guys were very helpful and friendly- they took great care when delivering our cooker! Online ordering was easy and only took 2-3 days for delivery.The tracker system is brilliant, lets you know when to expect your delivery! This is our second time ordering and will use this service again!

Had a problem with a TV I bought recently. Contacted AO and spoke with Paul who was first class. Problem resolved quickly and in a professional friendly manner. Have used AO before and would 100% use them again

One of the worst customer service experiences I have witnessed. Ordered a new TV and got a defective TV delivered. I have spoken to more than 6 staff over the course of a week and nothing has been done. If you still want to use this horrible company, pray you never have to process returns.

Definitely make ur research before purchasing anything from ao.I purchased a washing Machine they delivered a faulty one. after first wash I noticed the washing Machine is shaking and moving, they sent an engineer in my property, he said this washing machine is faulty and needs to be replaced.Next day when I rang I asked for replacement they refused and they said engineer said some thing else to them( means no trust worthy) and they refund only 80% of my money .In only 10 days I purchased a faulty washing machine they collected the machine ( I’m sure some one else will buy it and ao makes another 20%) and lost 20% of my money.Buy from high street shop which it gives u peace of mind, better service and u know where to go if any complains with ur product or service.

AVOID! I used this company for years, I will never use them again, their delivery drivers are useless and very bad attitude, my wife said she wouldn't feel safe if she was on her own, and they were delivering . I sent my appliance back because they wouldn't allow the appliance to be lifted over a bannister rail(as per previous deliveries from AO), it was totally safe, how pathetic! I will go elsewhere with my business in future!

Please advice this driver to not keep using his brakes on every single bend. 20-30 mph under every single speed limit. The guy wants to learn how to drive.

After being failed by Elek Direct on the delivery of a washing machine (10 days of miscommunication and disappointment) I ordered from AO.com on Wednesday and had my delivery the following day.The tracking link/information was great, communication from the delivery driver was fantastic - he gave me a 5 minute heads up before he turned up. He also installed the washing machine super fast.AAA grade service!

Good website, fast delivery. However I do not appreciate being harassed by sales calls selling insurance. It happens after every purchase.

I had issues with delivery which I won't detail as it was very distressing. The information sent out about their disconnect/install service was also inadequate and meant the service could not go ahead. AO did refund the fees for disconnect/install but it was still frustrating as it has caused a lot of hassle that didn't need to happen.The Customer Service response to the complaint about the delivery was to do the bare minimum. I repeatedly told them what they needed to do to make it right which was disregarded.As I was a repeat, loyal customer who had used them as my default for years it is a shame- I will never use them again and will advise my friends and family to avoid them.Update: Ao have since been in touch with an additional refund
