Owls Daycare

UPDATE : it was my son's last day today. He has spent 2 years at Owls and it became a family for him. That was a delight to see how happy he was to go to nursery (and was even complaining there was no nursery on weekends!). This week he was extremely sad when he understood he was leaving Owls. He has learnt a lot. That was so cute when he explained me in which circunstances we have to call 999, so cute when he says a few words in spanish, so nice to see that he has learnt so many things about insects, lovely to hear all the songs he learnt at Owls, great to see his enthusiam when he speaks about his friends and about the staff at Owls. I dont have enough words to say how fantastic Owls has been for my son. Highly recommend !-----My son has started at this nursery a month and a half ago and he loves it i mean he is still young and cant speak yet but i can see how enthusiastic he is when he picks up his bag to go to the nursery :) I love the fact that they dont have too many children. The atmosphere there is calm, not noisy and the children seem so nice and happy there ! They also have plenty of toys. They provide feedback every time i pick my son up They send a few pictures with comments on a regular basis. The 4 staff are all lovely. Never i have been worried or stressed to leave my little one there. I am glad we found them !

My daughter has been going to Owl’s since September 2022, when she was 1.5years old. She settled in so quickly and doesn’t even look back in the mornings - she’s so eager to get her day started! When we pick her up she’s always happy and tells me what she’s been up to that day. She really loves everyone that cares for her from Owl’s. Developmentally, the teachers provide daily update at pick up on how she’s been and we get updates on skill development through an online portal. I can’t recommend Owl’s enough, it’s been a wonderful place for our family.

Owls nursery has got to be the best nursery in Queens Park area. Our daughter has been going there for about a year now. Her reading, writing and maths are coming on amazingly (she’s almost 4) and she has lots of fun there and really loves it. The environment and the staff are all really loving and warm. It’s a family team that run the nursery and they are all so passionate about what they do. She’s also learning Spanish and doing science experiments… I don’t think you’ll find this kind of rich experience for your child everywhere! Initially we were worried that the garden is quite small… but this is far outweighed by everything else going on that I’ve mentioned so it’s not something to really worry about.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Owls for helping make my first week back at work this week as low stress as possible from a family perspective (especially as their Dad has been away at a conference all week!) Louis seems to have settled in really well (thank you Ciaran!) and Ines literally can't wait to come in every morning. A huge change from her last nursery.We really appreciate the amazing care and hard work from everyone on the team with our two little ones.

Couldn’t recommend this daycare more highly! A warm, caring, safe and supportive environment with impressive leadership and a strong staff. Owls offers a range of stimulating, educational and fun activities well-suited to the age groups of kids in their care. We are thrilled with their Science and Spanish curriculum! My almost 4 year old girl and 17 month old boy absolutely love it at Owls and thrive in the setting.

Our daughter has been attending Owls since January 2022 and is about to finish there before starting at primary school. Sending her to Owls was one of the best decisions we've made. She has thrived there! The staff are so kind and patient, keeping us up to date with her progress via the Tapestry app. The activities they plan for the kids are thoughtful, fruitful and fun. Due to their science and Spanish specialism, we feel like our daughter has learned a lot more than she may have done at another setting. They have also done a great job in making her school ready, from phonics and literacy/numeracy practise to completing practical tasks independently. One of the biggest highlights for us (and probably our lives...!) was the end of year show the older children put on recently. Not only was it a testament to the kids' progress, but also to the staff's passion, dedication and the love of learning and life they've shared with the kids. A big thank you to everyone at Owls - you are all amazing practitioners and an asset to the community!

Where to begin?! Owls Daycare was the greatest decision we’ve made in terms of our child’s well-being. The staff are some of the sweetest people I’ve met in my entire life. The moment our toddler joined, you could tell he was so excited for this new phase. They put special care into each child and really pay attention to helping them grow. Our toddler wakes up in the morning and says OWLS because he is THAT excited to go! We love our Owls extended family and I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Thanks Owls we love you! Xxx

What a great school! Owls was incredibly welcoming to my daughter when we arrived mid-school year! The staff is warm and friendly, the location and hours are great, and best yet, the kids are awesome and love being there! Great location as well! Long live Owls!

Our daughter was only at this setting for 4 months, but she really had the best time. She settled in so quickly and loved both the staff and the other children. She was looking forward to going to Owls Daycare everyday and still talks about it with great joy. I would really recommend this Daycare, your child will be in great hands and have a wonderful time.
