Houghton Cuts Hair & Beauty Salon

One of the best experiences I've had with a hair salon. They fitted me in at 30 minutes notice 2 days before Christmas because I needed a haircut correcting. I saw senior stylist Elaine, who knew exactly what to do, and I'm now really happy with my hair - a friendly, very professional cut when everyone is under pressure, so full marks! I've booked a return appointment in January because I've never had such good service anywhere and I'll definitely be recommending it. Thanks again.

I was made to feel very comfortable from the moment I entered the salon. All I knew was that I wanted nail extensions but was unsure of exactly what type or colour - this was not a problem. The staff member listened to what I wanted and talked me through a number of suggestions. I had so many compliments on my new nails!! This was the first time having my nails done here but it certainly won’t be the last.

Fab service. Hair looked absolutely amazing. Also really pleased because I was offered oat milk in my tea, I'm lactose intolerant so that was fab.

1st time in this salon but definitely not my last the staff were great, Jo did a great cut and colour I love it. Would recommend a visit and prices reasonable too.. Thanks ladies

Avoid this salon!!!Went into the salon for a consultation about hair extensions… I have never been met by such an uninterested stylist ever!! She was very reluctant to give me a quote… she told me my hair was too damaged to hold extensions and she belittled me in front of other customers. I have since gone somewhere else and they have totally contradicted what she said… the service I’m receiving from the other salon is second to none… better staff. Better quality and better price

I have come here for the past 5 years for an eyebrow wax and tint by Georgia. She’s always friendly and amazing member of staff to this business and she does them perfect every time. The whole establishment is amazing they make you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk through the door, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend! Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing experience. All the staff were so lovely and the environment was so welcoming. My amazing stylist Ellie gave me my dream blonde, she took the time to thoroughly ask what I want and analyse my hair to give me the perfect result. Such an amazing hair transformation. Would 100% recommend!

First time coming to this salon had an eyebrow wax and tint with Georgia from the minute i walked in i felt relaxed. Georgia is a very friendly and chatty girl will definitely be coming back my eyebrows were done amazing :)

Worst experience in a hair salon ever!!Booked an appointment for a cut and finish a few weeks in advance. Arrived a couple of minutes early. Was asked to take a seat. Receptionist then came back and told me my stylist was busy and he'd be 40 minutes.No apology, no call prior to me arriving to tell me of this delay. After a few back and forth with the stylist I was told it would be 40 minutes or they could re arrange my appointment for another day. Still no apology even though I had an appointment booked.Really poor service and customer care. Safe to say I walked out and booked an appointment at another salon a few days later. At that salon I was out with a new hairstyle within one hour and it was a fabulous experience!
