Came to sportsman with family n friends to celebrate my 60th birthday the food was amazing had breaded mushrooms starter , mixed grill main absolutely fantastic. On top of that the service was brilliant thank you so much to the lovley landlady who came over to talk to us all an made us feel so welcome. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome xx

Charlie couldn’t be more helpful! He even brought the dogs a water bowl ☺️ the food was yummy, great classic pub food. We were made to feel really welcome, lovely atmosphere and all 4 of us really really enjoyed the food. A little gem!

Came out for my dad’s birthday, 4 generations. Saturday afternoon for lunch, bit to busy but this meant that food was served quickly and was a great place to catch up. Friendly, helpful staff. Great service. Thanks

First time visit. It won’t be the last.We were a family group of 7. There was plenty of choice on the menu to suit all of our tastes and they also catered for my son’s food allergies. The member of staff was lovely and the food was delicious.

Great friendly pub and they allow dogs in which is great and you can tell they actually love dogs! They always make a fuss of my dog when I walk in! Food is lovely too at a reasonable price and a lovely down to earth atmosphere!

A bit further away from home than normal but decided a good walk. Both ate off the Pub Classics menu, Steak and Ale pie was a proper pastry ie not fluffy air and Hunters chicken very moist and tasty. Will come again ✌️

Always a nice evening, good pub food at very reasonable price. Cosy kind of setting. Tvs to keep kids entertained while we enjoyed a bottle of nice wine. Staff are lovely, friendly and chatty. We'll worth a visit.
