Tried their cafe for the first time. A pretty thin menu choice in my opinion, plumped for their Big Breakfast. For once it came exactly as pictured on the menu! Everything was hot except strangely the poached eggs were only lukewarm. Apart from that it was quite nice, and at £8,95 was OK for value in these times of everything going up.

Visited the store to purchase some ladieswear and food.Perused the store with husband to find what we wanted.Very aware of being followed by a security guard who smirked and made it obvious he was following us.Hubby disappeared as he popped to the loo which seemed to make security more vigilant.Felt very uncomfortable during the visit. We went through the checkout spending £103Then upstairs for another £20.Not a pleasant shopping experience and not the first time this has happened at M&S St Nicholas.

Poor choice of swimwear with only a few items dotted across the store. Poor or no mid range sizes 12/14 Poor communication when I asked for assistance to find swimsuits told dotted around. No wonder customers are not using this store as they once did. I will not be travelling 30 miles for this type of experience which was poor

The interior is clean and classy, and there is a wide variety of items to be purchased here. The items are of very good quality, that is undoubtable. However, one should keep in mind that this store is wayyyy more expensive than some of its competitors like Primark, for example.

Me and my Mother went to the M & S cafe for our breakfast this morning and the service was not up to standard! We waited 20 minutes for our cooked breakfasts and both meals were missing poached eggs! Also, we waited over 30 minutes for a gingerbread frappe that never came until we were leaving the restaurant!Very disappointed with the service, would not recommend.A 1 star rating from me

This is a great reat store with a lots of choice of clothes jewellery perfume and accessories for women men and children. It is Very well laid out and appealing to the eye it is very nice. It also has a Great food hall with a amazing food from her and all over the world. The deli offering lots of different kind of hot meat like sausages and chicken cold meat honey ham roast beef cheese pies and lots more. It's a food lovers heaven. It has a little coffee shop downstairs and a cafe upstairs. There is an in-store bathroom click and collect and bank all upstairs. Disabled access is great for everything only one thing and that is downstairs in the ladies department some of ladies clothes are high up making it hard to reach if you're in a wheelchair or are short but if you ask a member of the staff they willing help you no problem. I highly recommend going for a visit. On my visit I got some great food from the deli some of the stuff I hadn't heard of and it smell amazing. I all so got some lovely flowers.

Just this afternoon as we were walking to M&S, we passed a very peaceful gathering to spread word about the horrific events taking place in Gaza and to show public support. Then, as we walked into M&S, a man who appeared to be the store manager was standing at the door talking on the phone laughing at the people outside. He said them showing their support was 'a joke' and made light of the entire situation.Surely any employee should first of all be working rather than having a laugh about people not even inside the store, let alone doing so in such a distasteful and dismissive tone regarding war crimes and violence. Today we live in a world where our money speaks volumes, and a corporate chain which employs people with horrendous and privileged attitudes about the world's biggest issues will not be getting mine.

Good store, but prices are rising fast. Recently grilled chicken cost £6.50, now £7.00, vanilla ice cream £2.00, now £2.20. Why are they growing like this?

I was very excited because I found the products related to the Chinese Spring Festival. I can feel the attention of the supermarket. I think the product tastes great. It's not that authentic, but it's worth trying. In addition, I also found that the supermarket has new pigeon meat and pheasant meat. The veal liver is delicious and very fresh. The beef bone marrow stew is not bad. There is no fruit in my picture, but I bought peaches. The peaches are very watery and sweet. Very recommended. The ham is very delicious, with a light savoury and salty taste.
