Staffa Trips

If you are planning on a trip to Staffa I couldn't recommend Staffa trips enough. The staff are really lovely down to earth Ionians who genuinely care that you enjoy the experience The trip itself is a fantastic experience that should be on everyone's bucket list.

Superb trip to Staffa in glorious weather. Love visiting Fingal's cave so much, have yet to view Staffa from the top. Today's trip was enhanced with a piper playing in the cave. The Iolaire is comfortable, with cover, should you get caught in a shower. Knowlegeable Captain and crew, who will point out wildlife if seen. Well worth the trip. Thank you so much.

Staffa was like nothing I've ever seen, and to approach it from sea is your only way to set foot on this uninhabited island! The team of Staffa Trips was sensational both to the island from Mull and then to the drop off at Iona. The cave is majestic, and the views within are beyond description. We had bagpipes within from a fellow passenger, and it made the cave all the more wonderful! Don't miss it if you are on Mull or Iona; and take is the vista's from the top!

Absolutely loved going to Staffa the staff on the ship were friendly, knowledgeable and super skilled. They still managed to land us and pick up from the island under very challenging conditions. A family of 4 and wee all had an amazing trip even seen some puffins. Thanks to all the team at Staffa trips.

Absolutely amazing trip to Staffa island! While extremely rainy, the island usually has puffins that visitors can see! There is also a large cave that a person can walk to along the shore of the island. (There is a hand rail)

An absolutely fantastic trip worth every penny spent. The guys picked us up at Fionnphort on time and the welcome to the boat was great. On our way the explained in depth the history of Iona and Mull as we sailed past and even took a small de-tour to see some sleeping seals.We arrived at Staffa and they spoke about the history of Staffa which was very interesting. We had just over an hour to explore Fingal's cave and visit the Puffin colony. The puffins spent most of the time in the sea so when we got back onto the boat they took us closer. On our journey back to shore we were met by some very playful common dolphins who spent a long time swimming with us. The guys even doubled back to see them. This meant we were slightly late getting back but nobody was bother as we had such a great time with the guys. Overall a trip that we will remember. Definitely recommend if you're in the area they will not let you down. Thank you!!!!!

I loved our 3 hour trip to Staffa, which is an incredibly beautiful place, but I didn’t love how crowded the boat was. Seating was tight. There was unused some seating space inside but you can’t see much from those seats.The staff was great. They gave us over an hour to walk around on Staffa, which was the best part: the views from the top of the cliffs were stunning.

This was our 2nd time to Iona but our 1st time to Fingal's Cave. I booked online before our trip and it was very convenient to book and very reasonable in price. The trip itself was amazing! The owner and the young man on our trip were very friendly and very attentive to helping passengers on and off the boat, island and very efficient with helping maneuver the boat so each side of the boat could see the whale, shark, dolphins, seals as we encountered them. I only made it into Fingal's cave. I did not make it to the top but that was never my priority so I am very pleased all around.I personally will be back to use their services next time once again and if I know of anyone coming to Iona I will tell them to use your services! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience! I will never forget it!

Just the the most beautiful journey to Staffa and Iona, safety conscious and friendly crew, beautiful boat, 1:25hr to visit Staffa, Fingals cave and Puffins as the weather was kind.

An incredible experience! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mull and Iona. The staff were so informative and helped us with any queries we had. We saw the puffins which were a highlight for us!
