Generally nice park, great for kids and dogs or just a stroll. Nice little wildlife park and cafe at the weekend. Sometimes have scum bags hanging about though.

Wooded park with two rugby pitches. Small, well maintained play area. Pretty place but Can get very muddy.

Google, is it at all possible that you can stop confusing somewhere i drive past with somewhere i visit.ask me about lightoaks park google. i go there a lot to walk our dog.dont ask me about this place. i've only been there maybe 5 times in 20 years.Its a park. lots of grass n trees. great for dogs. looks kinda neglected n somewhat derelict. not my idea of a nice place.

Oakwood is a lovely park. Lots of greenery, a place to play rugby or football. Great for walking dogs, plenty of bins. For rubbish etc. Small play area for the young ones. It's kept really neat and cared for. I enjoy walking through here with the 2 dogs and usually go onto Lightoaks Park, which is a lovely place to visit too

Good to walk the dog and shop just down the road so if you get thursty you can get a drink and ice-cream man often visits

Take my dogs on there sometimes. It's a great green space on your doorstep. A very small kids play area and not much else apart from the new birthing unit which is part of Salford royal
