Compass Canine Hydrotherapy and More

Oscar our 12.5 yr old whippet has wobblers disease with associated joint pain and fits. Ordinarily he doesn't like water so I wasn't sure if hydrotherapy would work for him. Sara made us very welcome, let Oscar orientate himself and very gently encouraged him to first walk through a treat obstacle course and then into the shower and pool. She noticed what he was finding easy and difficult which helped us adjust things at home for him. After the first session we began to notice he was doing things which we hadn't seen him do in a while. He is more sure footed on land albeit still a bit wobbly and he is developing his confidence in the water. Sara really takes time to build a relationship with Oscar and respond to him - going at his pace. I can really recommend her having received such care, professionalism and having learnt more about how I can help Oscar at home.

Really calm, informative, non judgy scent work session with our young doberman. We both learnt a lot.

Sara was calm, knowledgeable and full of advice with our Collie X Malamute Huskey. We were recommended to her through a friend as our elderly dog was becoming less active. The hydro pool and treadmill helped her joints, and walking became easier during the weekdays. Bella really enjoyed her sessions!
