I love the Imp, as it's lovelingly nicknamed, or Georges, or the red place which I'm almost ashamed to say. My stepdaughter has called it that since she was 4. She's now 9. She loves George. Ideal for a light lunch that's also light on the pocket. Guinness is great. Service spectacular especially Stephen. Decor delightful. Alliterations aplenty. A classic Bangor boozer that shouldn't be passed.

Nice bar situated off the Main Street in Bangor. There is a front bar, back lounge and a decent upstairs space in which I seen a band lately.Had food one day and it was very good. All in all worth a visit if you are in Bangor.

Upstairs to see Strictly No Ballroom with Bangor Rock and Blues Club. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, nice clean room and bar, friendly bar staff, will definitely be back

Had a brilliant time music by Normandee food was gorgeoussupplied by Donegans Paul Gray(chef) it was my sisters 70th surprise party great night was had by all.

We went in for a quick bite. I haven't been here for many years but it was a lovely bar. It had a limited menu but we only wanted soup sandwich and stew all of which were tasty and hot. I would definitely be back for lunch.
