I’ve had my hair cut by Jess before but today I went for the full head of bleach highlights and a cut. Wow, I am so impressed with the colour and the cut. I haven’t been able to achieve the icy blonde creamy colour or the sharp clean cut that Jess gave me today with any other hairdressers in Nottingham. I highly recommend Jessica and her services to everyone. She’s so lovely and has passion for what she does which is reflected in her work!

This is the best hairdresser and stylist I’ve ever been to. Jess is so professional, yet warm and welcoming, as well as doing a killer cut and colour. She really listens to your needs as a client and is honest about what will work and what won’t, but is never scared of a challenge! She’s so encouraging and as someone who has never felt comfortable getting my hair done, she is such a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend - you won’t regret it! JD

I first used Jaybees services when Jess opened up her salon on Mapperly top and have been a client since. Jaybees offers the most professional and friendly service I have ever received. Jess has an amazing personality and will engage in conversation, trying to get to know her clients. I always got what I wanted and never left the salon disappointed. The prices are very reasonable considering the amazing talent Jess has and the amount of love she puts into her work. I honestly couldn’t wish to have found a better hair dresser and now that I have moved from Nottingham I am dreading finding someone else I will trust with my hair due to the standard and expectations set and met by Jess. I’ve been to many hairdressers and always felt so uncomfortable & my opinion was never listened too. Until I came to Jaybees. Jess is honestly one of the best people in the hairdressing industry. Always dyed my own hair as never trusted a hairdresser due to having afro hair. I went from purple to black into green ombre, jess was amazing made me feel super comfortable, my hair looks and feels amazing i wish I came to her sooner! Amazing prices too!! Can't wait for my next appointment x

Jaybees is phenomenal. Not only is the owner a wonderful human but also such a incredibly talented hairdresser. This salon is truly a safe and comfortable place for all people, I've never felt so comfortable and relaxed.In the notes section when booking my appointment I put that I have a condition that makes movement painful and I have limited movement in my neck, Jess washed and cut my hair so gently that at times, I forgot what she was doing. There was no constant moving of your head like in normal salons, she worked around my disability and made my hair appointment an amazing experience.In the past, my hair appointments with other salons ended with me hating the cut, feeling judged, crying in pain, feeling anxious and a dip in my MH. But my experience with Jaybees was the complete opposite, I left loving the haircut, feeling relaxed, confident and I never thought I would say this, but I can't wait to get my hair to grow so I can visit Jaybees again :)
