I took my car to Dexel in market rasen to have new front pads fitted. As per their paperwork there was no faults with the car when it was dropped off. When I picked up the car it had a headlight position sensor fault showing on the dashboard. They failed to mention this, presumably hoping I would notice or come back. They then messed me around, with me having to bring the car back twice. I was informed that it was a coincidence and after some Googling is a common fault. They have clearly knocked the sensor whilst working in the area and are trying to weasel out of any responsibility. Will not be going back, my advice would be to avoid, if fitting brake pads without damage is too much of a job to do properly. Looking at reviews it seems this happens regularly and they just don’t care.

I had an MOT here & the free wheel alignment offered. Both completed in reasonable time. No problem with the service or staff.My only comment would be the online booking service - currently you are offered a day and time slot, however this is not always available at the preferred garage - so it means the garage have to call to re-arrange. Hopefully Dexel will get their new live booking service up & running soon, so hopefully this will streamline bookings.
