Don't know what has happened to this place,but has gone downhill in the last few months,was the cheapest pub in the area,now its the most expensive,£4.30 for Carling,who pays that price for pee water!!..All the regulars,have gone to the Bluebell,which I'm not surprised!.

Had some good nights in this pub. If you are pretentious and seeking somewhere to pose this is not for you. If you want to see genuine friendly folk having a good time on a Saturday night then the beer is reasonably priced and the staff a friendly and efficient so I recommend a visit.

Went to go for karaoke, was greeted by a very unfriendly man outside sweeping shouting at us saying we’re closed at least 3 times they still had people singing and was still serving drinks… this was at 9:45 pm when apparently they close at 12am. Would not recommend, taking my money elsewhere and will not be going back. Get your act together!

This is a locals pud down to earth not for tourist at night?, afternoon quick drink,Thursday best night 'open Mic great night, few more drunks?, good place tohave a cheap drink.

Not a good place at the moment water all over the floor in then mens toilet as normal been like that a while outside area very scruffy and unloved served drinks with lipstick on the glasses twice!! Expensive as well the same round in a similar pub in town was nearly £5 cheaper !! Re think needed or more effort!!
