The Tearoom at the Kirk
Ein wirklich süßer britischer Tearoom. Klein und gemütlich. Die Speisen und Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist britisch forsch, aber nett. Es gibt keinen Grund hier nicht einzukehren. Mir hat die Schokolade besonders gut geschmeckt!

Die Kirche nebenan war die Überraschung in diesem Schottlandurlaub. Der Besuch in diesem kleinen charmanten Teeraum ebenfalls. Dieser Teeraum ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Betreiberin gibt sich sehr viel Mühe. Auch die Toilette ist mit frischen Blumen dekoriert und sauber. Nettes Detail ist ein kleiner Schmicktisch mit einem Stuhl davor.

Beautiful spot at Saint Conans - the church is stunning as are the surroundings. Beware of the lady in the tearooms however - possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered. The very basic food is vastly overpriced, the tearoom smells of damp and has a sad atmosphere. Serving people seems to be a massive favour to ask for her and much complaining. Very unpleasant experience. Go somewhere else but enjoy the wonderful surroundings.

Nous nous sommes arrêté pour manger un gâteau devant cette magnifique vue mais la responsable n'était pas du tout aimable ! Elle parlait très vite et elle voyait qu'on avait des difficultés pour comprendre mais ne faisait aucun effort ! Tant pis nous avons fait demi tour.

Ein hübscher kleiner und gemütlicher Tea Room gleich neben der Kirche. Die Betreiberin mag einen etwas spröden Charme haben, aber die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Der hausgemachte Caramel Cupcake schmeckte wunderbar, die Getränke waren auch völlig in Ordnung, und der kleine Gastraum wirkte auf mich charmant und wohnlich. Von mir auf auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.

I’m just reviewing the price list and location because unfortunately it was closed when we visited but hope to come back later!! The church is well worth a visit.
