STAY AWAY- around 3am my boyfriend felt something crawling on his arm, he turned his torch on and noticed one of these creatures on him.. bed bugs. he inspects around, he then notices one on my pillow and one on the wall. he went down to complain the man and requested a refund as this was not a place to be staying with 2 young children especially to find this at 3am he then notified us this place got closed down recently due to bed bugs so they needed to get people out to clean it too to bottom… he said he will speak to his manager in the morning about the refund and offered us a different room and took my boyfriend to check it out under the mattress, quilts, etc. they was obviously nothing in sight so with it being 3am in the morning and having to move rooms and we was very tired with a 1 month and 1 year old we just took this room as we just really wanted to get some sleep. as we went to go and put my nephew in bed there was one sat on the sheet so we put him in our bed and called staff to come and see for themselves, he then killed it, left it on the floor and advised us that we “carried it” from the previous room? after this we got some sleep and then we woke up around 7:30am and i checked on my nephew to notice one crawling on him on top of the quilt! my boyfriend went downstairs he complained and demanded a full refund which we got in the end but the women asked us not to bad review this place. the minute we seen the bed bug in the morning we got our stuff ready and left and complaints have been made to the council.(just behind coral island)

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and the service was absolutely incredible for the pricing! The hotel room were very nice, clean, and tidy and the staff were very kind and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere of the rooms were comfy.

Paid £36 for a double room and the price was about right. Upon arrival i was annoyingly told that i needed to pay a deposit of £20 so i can get my key and tv remote (it was given back at the end of my stay.The room was basic but clean(room 306) one window however was damaged so couldn’t open it thankfully we had another though. Bed was very comfortable but only had 1 pillow each and they had no more to provide us with.Bar open until early hours but don’t recommend at all as there was very limited choice.Hardly seen any staff around.I would stay again but only as a last resortLocation is super.12/7/2023

Mother an auntie spent the weekend in this hotel. They went to the room they was no sugar to hand one of the cups had not been washed. The room was full of dust all over the walls the lights. They was a horrible smell all over the room. They could not sleep as the other residents was loud was banging from other rooms. They had all of two towels for 2 people an had to pay for more as they didn't change them till 3 days later. We definitely don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

We only stayed one night, couldn't go wrong for the price but the rooms are basic, beds more comfortable than expected and location was great!

No lift to floors, we were told a lift to floor 1 but its a chair lift which is no good if you have a child asleep in a pushchair and cases. Having said that staff vere very helpful and pleasant and a 24 hr reception. The room was a good size twin, have had a lot smaller in a more expensive hotel. Only problem was there was no wardrobe just a rail on the wall. The shower was red hot and very stiff, i managed to regulate it using a towel. Mirror was in bathroom on wall but non in bedroom which is no good for doing hair. Tables in bar were sticky all the time. I think it was a type of varnish. Breakfast was very nice but only an hour window to get it. The room was hot, opened one of the windows with a struggle and had a real struggle when come to close it. The other window was ok but high up. Location is excellent.

When we arrived at the hotel we were given the wrong key. And we opened the door and it was someone else's room and they were sat on the bed. When we went down for breakfast the next morning, we were told that we were room only. We went and found somewhere to eat and I looked at our booking and it said breakfast included.
