First time buying a car here was amazing all throughout Dan helped me choose the ideal car and Joe was amazing and sorted everything out for me he kept me up to date the entire time explained the whole process so I always knew what was happening and when I got the car it was absolutely spotless thanks to Scott.

Bought my first car on Saturday, Samuel Holman was absolutely fab, he helped me find the perfect car for me in all aspects. Couldn’t fault Sam or the garage in any way! Car was absolutely immaculate on pick up and all staff very approachable and lovely!

My car needed it's MOT & I'd left it late to book it in anywhere. Benton Seat fortunately were able to find a booking for me, they couldn't have been more helpful & were far more supportive than other dealerships I'd contacted.The car passed it's MOT, & unexpectedly was valeted to a very high standard. As someone who has worked in the car trade previously I'm more than pleased with the service provided by the staff at this dealership.Good work guys.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Samuel Holman! Second time I’ve purchased a car from here and it’s the second time he’s sold a car to me and he’s made it as easy as possible for me. Nothing ever seems to be a problem or an issue. Always keep me up to date with what’s being done and if I need to do anything (not that it’s ever much for me to do as he does pretty much everything!) would also like to thank Chris and the team as they’re always happy to help and I alway have a warm welcome. Though I’m in love with my new car, when the time comes I’ll definitely be back again! Can’t recommend them enough!

Bought my car on Sunday and picked up yesterday. Scott Simpson who helped with all the details and the paperwork (even when I’d brought the wrong stuff) was absolutely fantastic! He was great with our daughter when she was being impatient. I can’t fault the service I absolutely love my new car ! Thank you so much !

After sales service shocking, once they have got your money it feels like you're just a bad smell when trying to get issues resolved. Scotswood road SEAT way more helpful and understanding. Before even purchasing the vehicle when the receptionist thinks they have you on hold putting you through to your salesman but in reality you can hear the entire conversation, hearing what does he want now" from a salesman should've been enough to make me withdraw there and then but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Really unprofessional."

DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYSWell, well, well, do I have a tale to tell...I bought a car that had to go in for a repair before collection. I was initially told that it would be a few days. There were issues getting a part so days turned into weeks, and weeks started to turn into months before I eventually gave up and bought a car from somewhere else.At first, the updates were frequent. Then they dried up and I had to keep ringing them up to chase them. They eventually said that they could not give any sort of time estimate for the part to arrive (crazy!) and suggested that I look for another car.I do have some sypathy for this as the issues are in their supply chain, BUT - unfortunately they did very little to actively manage the situation and just left it up to me to look on their website for a new car. Also , their were no regular updates from them unless I chased despite their promises. Sometimes I didn't even get a call back.Contrast this to the dealership I eventually bought from (Wingrove Motors) who actively searched for a car for me for months (I first went in there before I even spoke to Arnold Clarke and they kept trying to help even though they didn't have anything I wanted.)But here's the thing that really annoyed me -They initially quoted £5k to part-x my old car. After the time had passed waiting to collect the new car (about 2 months) they told me that the car was only worth £3.8k now after having previously said they would honor the part x price if I waited for the car or bought another one from them. The dealer I eventually bought from gave me £4.2k so Arnold Clarke essentially cost me £800. They didn't even apologise for that.Oh yeah, and to top it all off, I was supposed to get a free meal voucher as part of a promotion they were running and they didn't even give me that.You'd think that after all this messing around they would do SOMETHING to compensate me for the inconvenience and the loss of money - but no. It would have just taken a tiny bit of effort to placate me, but since they don't have the common sense to protect their brand, they deserve every letter of this scathing review.Absolute garbage and a total lack of respect for customers.Don't buy your car from Arnold Clarke - buy it from Wingrove motors.

I've Used Benton store for the last 6-7years. Use it for servicing everytime it needs done with 10/10 rating every visit. Guys if your newcastle area this garage is the best for mobility scheme car and customer service. Well done team great work everytime.

Arrogant, dishonest and not a care in the world. Bought a car from them and specifically asked about certain wear and tear. They tried to let me drive off without pointing out very obvious damage to the interior (smashed glass part). Claimed they didn't notice but also said the part was already on order, so someone is lying.Took car in to have part fitted, 4 hour job could now be 3 weeks as they were unable to carry out a simple part change and have now caused damage to the vehicle. Car now needs to be taken to another garage as their technicians are not capable of a simple job.Complained and they called me back with more excuses. Said I'd have a call back the next day which didn't happen.The claimed they didn't have my number after calling 2 days before. Yet another blatant lie. Also called 2 times a day for customer feedback when I first bought the car. So clearly have my number.Absolute bunch of idiots and a let down to the rest of the Arnold Clark group.
