Would highly recommend using Norwich Mortgage Centre to anyone. We live in Scotland and used Paul Cannell to purchase our first flat. He was superb, so efficient and very friendly. He made us feel comfortable every step of the way!

A responsive, professional service. My advisor, Derrick, listened to my particular needs as a self-employed freelancer seeking a mortgage for a first home purchase. I had previously been outright rejected by a bank on the grounds of my self-employed status and Norwich Mortgage Centre were very communicative; the process was straightforward and successful.

We were referred to Paul Dodimead by a friend following her positive experience. We had a tricky purchase as the house was of non traditional construction, we had been declined by our existing mortgage company to port as we were relocating and were close to giving up but following a call to Paul, felt reassured that not all was lost. Paul gave us a couple of options to start and even those weren't exhaustive so we knew we had a chance of securing the house we wanted by utilising his expertise.After working with Paul for a couple of weeks and facing a few hurdles (which we expected) we finally got a mortgage offer and were delighted!Working with Paul and the brief contact we had with colleagues, we couldn't recommend the Norwich Mortgage Centre enough. We used the mortgage centres initially to see if we were able to get a mortgage with a view to buy later in the year, however... Paul came to our house for our initial mortgage chat with very good news and within two weeks we had a mortgage in principal, we’re now very close to living in our dream house and we can’t thank Paul Dodimead enough for all his hard work and efforts. Paul was very approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble and he made us feel very relaxed about the whole process. We also liked that he took the time to understand our situation which was very different to the average first time buyers because we are using the forces help to buy, Paul was very knowledgeable in all areas and helped us a lot with the buying process by liasing with the sales office and a lot of issues surrounding our solicitor. I would recommend the mortgage centre a 100% there was never any pressure and everything is very easy with them to guide you through. If your lucky enough to get Paul on your case then I guarantee it will be the smoothest part of your house buying process. Paul would even work around our busy schedules by calling us in the evenings after work, he also comes to your home so it’s very informal which made us feel at ease. One thing we particularly liked about Paul is he would always keep us updated with the progress, or next step so that we weren’t worrying- buying a house is extremely scary and he was right there to guide us on what we needed to do at every stage. The mortgage centre also helped us arrange our house and personal insurances to protect our mortgage which was very helpful. I’ve given 5 stars because that’s the highest you can give, but if was out of 100 we wouldn’t hesitate to give 110! Thankyou so much!

Paul and his team managed to arrange a huge mortgage with a high street bank at a great rate in a very short time frame. The Mortgage was drawn down over Xmas for a 28.12.2020 completion, not the norm, however our expectations were well and truly exceeded.Do not hesitate to use Norwich Mortgage Centre.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Norwich Mortgage Centre. Paul Cannell went above and beyond, giving us attentive, responsive service from the very beginning. This was in stark contrast to the other advisors we engaged in the process; at times it felt like Paul was the only person on our side! Long after his involvement should have ended, Paul was helping us out with great advice and tips, and we were particularly impressed with the time he took to explain things to us. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and his team to my family and friends, and will certainly be using him again in future. 100% recommend!

Had Paul as our mortgage advisor, and could not say a bad word against him. Kept in constant contact and chased up the estate agent during lockdown. Used Skype and emails to keep in contact. Very very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.
