It’s so lovely to have this pub open on the doorstep again and to welcome Chris and Teresa back to Salisbury. I enjoyed my meal but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a lunch menu. I would always bring guests here previously and we would enjoy the lunch options. Not everyone wants a meal at lunchtime so I won’t be able to use it as often as I would like to! I’ll use it as often as I can as I want the pub to thrive but maybe other options to burgers …

Four of us booked for Sunday lunch (opening weekend).Holly looked after us faultlessly.Pub was very busy but it did not affect the standard of food or service.Great to have a pub that serves a carafe of wine as well!!!Three of us went for the roast... deeeelish and tons of it!The other person had the falafel salad.Fantastic to see an old pub reopened . They have done an amazing job with the decor, particular nod to the loos oh and the doggy friendly bits on dresser!!!We're looking forward to returning!!Thanks guys, brilliant job!!

Our new favourite pub! This is how you refurbish a pub! It's been done out fantastically, even the toilets are fabulous! The staff are really friendly and there's a great choice of drinks - as well as local ones. And it's extremely dog friendly. Love it, love it, love it!

We had a super Sunday Roast here with vegetarian and gluten free options available to keep everyone happy. Extra gravy, roast potatoes and vegetables can be requested for no extra charge! We were too full to tackle dessert but they did look good. Great selection of beers and ales to try including some local options. The service from the friendly staff was excellent.

Decor good, service trying hard but food poor. Very dry roast pork, obviously carved many hours before and vegetables not appetising although abundant.

Had a somewhat disappointing burger but some good beers. Service was really good, plus local beer from Dark Revolution was reliably good as always. It was a quiet weekday, but the Halloween decorations firing up every few seconds got annoying very quickly.Mostly, we thought that a £16 burger should not have been as dry or unseasoned for the price, even if the chips were *amazing*. 2* for the burgers, unfortunately, but 5 for the chips & beers.

The description of this pub is hopelessly out of date. It has been beautifully refurbished. Excellent choice of real ales. Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection, generous portions. Friendly service great ambience welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

Only popped in here for a few drinks. Ot has been refurbished really nicely, great with the fire on the go. Great selection of drinks! And service with a smile!

I've not been to the pub yet since it reopened but know several people that have, they all seemed happy with the ambience and food in there, but purely based on the fact that a close friend of mine got a look like he was a money launderer when he tried to pay with cash is enough to put me off, you should have the right to pay cash wherever you decide to go. Apparently their is a small sign somewhere saying it card payment only" Not good enough and unacceptable in my eyes."
