St Andrews Town Hotel

Three of us stayed at St Andrews Town Hotel for one night on 11th October. We had three double rooms- single occupancy. Two of us have some difficulty with stairs so the hotel changed the rooms so that we were on the ground floor. They did this quietly and efficiently. All the rooms were clean with high quality bedding and towels. The bathrooms were spotless.The restaurant was not open that evening so we ordered a takeaway. We felt we could have been told that the restaurant wasn't going to be open.There was just one person on the bar but that was more than enough.Breakfast was very good - a good choice of cereals, juices and hot breakfasts.All the staff were very helpful during our time at the hotel.We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again.

Was here for a wedding.Lovely room to be held in.Food was a buffet and plentiful.Overall a good experience

No atmosphere whatsoever, decor awful. The worst buffet I've had for a long time, couldn't eat most of it, had a few crudités and two sandwiches. £23 a head

Tucked away, in a quiet setting is this lovely hotel. Afternoon tea catered for a range of dietary requirements. Generous portions.

Stayed here for two nights to attend a Taekwondo competition in Worcester - what a gorgeous old building in an idyllic location; fabulous experience with the staff, so friendly and extremely helpful; the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay; the cooked breakfast was delightful and it was so lovely to actually have the option of a poached egg (our favourite!) that was cooked to perfection.Although we had a wonderful stay here, please be aware that this is not a trendy modern hotel; it has quirks that go with the age of the building, such as very loud plumbing and wobbly sash windows. But if you're after something with character and a touch of charm, this would be perfect!

Booked a room at the start of May for a wedding at the end of July, happened to call up the day before to check about dropping our bags off before the wedding and was told our room was cancelled due to them over booking…If I hadn’t have called to ask about the bags we wouldn’t have been told about the cancellation. Terrible service. They say they prioritised older bookings but I find that hard to believe. Have now had to pay almost double for a last minute room elsewhere. Book with caution.

We booked a room in June to stay in September coming to go see some old friends, we chose the hotel for its location and facilities for disabled as I use an in electric scooter to get about.The hotel have just emailed us to inform us they are cancelling our booking because there is wedding party who wanted it exclusively for their party so everyone one else is being told rudely to go elsewhere.We think it's shocking the way we and other guests who have booked in advance being treat like this and we and our friends, family etc will not be staying there anymore.

Having lefted another accommodation in Droitwich because I wasn't happy with it, I managed to find this hotel at the last minute. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming, and were even able to let me stay beyond my check in time the next day to attend an online conference. What could have been an unpleasant memory of a trip to Droitwich was well and truly saved by the fantastic service I received here. Thank you all so much.

The hotel was great value and manager was very friendly when we checked in late. The bed was perfectly comfortable but the bathroom was far from clean.We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on the food.
