Old Scratch Tattoo

My daughter had her first tattoo done here by Logan. She had a rough idea of what she wanted and Logan came up with a design. She was so pleased with the end result, it looks amazing! The shop is light and welcoming, the boys in there are friendly and very professional. We will be back soon x.

Amazing studio! I had the best experience here. My tattoo was meticulously planned out to make it perfect to what I wanted. On the day I was offered lovely drinks and was made to feel super comfortable and safe in the studio (which is something very important to me.) The studio was extremely clean and the boys took care in making sure the process was a great experience for me. I had a large tattoo on my calf which I absolutely love and is my favourite tat! The colours have stayed so bright and the lines are super crisp so I'm very happy. Definitely going back soon and would recommend them to anyone!

I messaged same day a very vague idea of what I wanted. 2 hours later I was in the shop getting my first tattoo. They was also so friendly and it really calmed my nerves. They are very professional with Id and forms to fill out which is good.They designed my tattoo with the very little description I gave. They let you come round a view the design and change things and give multiple options to decide for what you want exactly.They take you upstairs make you feel calm and comfortable before officially using the gun. They do a test line or dot and ask “how is that for you” giving you an idea on the noise and pain before going in with the tattoo.The artist is very precise and really takes pride in the art work they do. They play music that is calming and check up throughout the experience.The tattoo I got was so amazing done and I love it. The service was brilliant. The legal side was great really checking ages which is good. The cleanliness was like a clinic all gloves and wrapped chairs and stools as well us the gun and tray used for all their tools.This was the best experience for my first tattoo and will definitely be coming back. Pricing was good and fair especially for the size of my tattoo. I really recommend this tattoo shop, definitely give it a go.

I brought my friends daughter here for a tattoo and was very impressed with the service….and the spectacular end result. The studio was clean, the artist created a friendly, positive atmosphere and we were given clear verbal and written instructions about how to care for the tattoo at home. All in all, a great experience.

Absolutely awesome tattooist with a professional but welcoming atmosphere. Had my fourth tattoo just after they opened early this year and cannot express the difference in service and quality of work. Logan is a top guy and I will be returning for more work asap! Five stars all round! <3 DMT

I've been getting tattooed for over 20 years and by far this is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to (and I've been tattooed by Louis Molloy). The staff are incredibly helpful, it's clean, and reasonably priced. The work they put out is absolutely top notch and they'll bend over backwards to fit you in an appointment when they can. I've had lots of work done at this relatively new shop and, based on my experience, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and I'll continue to return. It blows other shops out of the water in Hastings and the surrounding area.

I have had my last 3 tattoos done here by Logan. The whole atmosphere is fantastic. Very clean and the guys are very friendly. Logan is a fantastic artist so much so that I trusted him to do my latest tattoo without seeing it first and I love it. Try these guys you will kot be disappointed

Amazing place to get tattooed. Not intimidating as some places are. Logan completed my tattoo far better than I could’ve hoped for. His skill and attention to detail are first class. Can’t wait for my next one. Highly recommended.

Couldn't recommend a better place! Me and my boyfriend wanted some tattoos, we tried other places and got turned away, or told we couldn't be fit in for months. I messaged old scratch and they replied quickly, being very friendly and fitted us in. My boyfriend works late so they stayed later after closing just to it us in! The tattooist was so welcoming and friendly, he even made my design better by recommending different types of stars, which was so thoughtful and made me love my finished design even more. We will defiantly be returning. If your looking for a design with a talented, friendly artist come here!
